Role Purpose<\/p>\n
\tAs an Account Manager at PayJustNow, your primary responsibility is to manage and grow a portfolio of emerging merchant partners. These merchants may not yet be classified as strategic, but they represent significant potential for future growth. Your role is to build strong relationships, drive product adoption, and identify opportunities to elevate these accounts into strategic partnerships over time.
\n\tThis role is critical in ensuring that all merchants, regardless of size, receive the support, insights, and engagement needed to thrive on the PayJustNow platform. You will work cross-functionally to deliver value, resolve issues, and contribute to the long-term success of our merchant ecosystem.<\/p>\n
Core Responsibilities
\nMerchant Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tServe as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of merchants.
\n\tBuild trust-based relationships with merchant stakeholders through regular engagement.
\n\tConduct check-ins and performance reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Account Development & Growth<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and execute opportunities to grow account value through increased product usage, marketing collaboration, and operational improvements.
\n\tDevelop tailored growth plans aimed at transitioning high-potential merchants into strategic accounts.
\n\tSupport merchants in adopting new features and optimising their use of PayJustNow\u2019s solutions.<\/p>\n
Performance Monitoring & Insights<\/p>\n
\tTrack and analyse key merchant performance metrics (e.g. transaction volume, repayment behaviour, customer conversion).
\n\tProvide actionable insights to merchants to improve outcomes and drive growth.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of merchant interactions and performance using data.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations to support merchant needs.
\n\tShare merchant feedback and feature requests to inform product and service improvements.
\n\tAssist in the rollout of new features or services to your merchant base.<\/p>\n
Issue Resolution & Support<\/p>\n
\tProactively identify and resolve merchant issues, escalating where necessary.
\n\tEnsure a high standard of service delivery and responsiveness across all accounts.<\/p>\n
Key Success Metrics (KPIs)<\/p>\n
\tGrowth in GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) per account
\n\tConversion rate of non-strategic to strategic accounts
\n\tMerchant retention and satisfaction scores (e.g. NPS)
\n\tAdoption of new PayJustNow features and products
\n\tTimeliness and effectiveness of issue resolution<\/p>\n
