Key Responsibilities:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily operations of the stock control department while\u00a0assisting\u00a0with warehouse and operational activities as needed.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain\u00a0accurate\u00a0bin allocations and stock locations,\u00a0monitor\u00a0bin integrity, and prepare regular inventory and operational reports to support decision-making.\u00a0
\n\tOversee work order planning and processing, ensuring stock availability aligns with operational requirements and demand planning.\u00a0
\n\tManage cycle counts, sectional counts, and stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to\u00a0maintain\u00a0high inventory accuracy.\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate inter-branch transfers (IBTs), ensuring\u00a0accurate\u00a0requesting, dispatching, receiving, and system processing of stock movements.\u00a0
\n\tMonitor incoming shipments and back orders, ensuring\u00a0accurate\u00a0tracking, communication, and\u00a0timely\u00a0resolution of outstanding stock items.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure correct SKU allocation and barcode accuracy for all products, supporting traceability and system integrity.\u00a0
\n\tOversee proper handling, storage, and movement of stock to prevent damage, losses, or inaccuracies.\u00a0
\n\tSupport overall warehouse efficiency by ensuring stock is packed away timeously, shelves\u00a0remain\u00a0stocked, and operational workflows are\u00a0maintained.\u00a0
\n\tProvide inventory support to sales, marketing, and returns processes by ensuring\u00a0accurate\u00a0stock availability, allocations, and processing of returned items.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and warehouse operational standards\u00a0at all times.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tNational Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4\u00a0
\n\tDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Inventory\u00a0Management\u00a0or related field preferred.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in inventory and stock control within a wholesale,\u00a0distribution\u00a0or warehouse environment.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience managing a team of\u00a0warehouse staff and activities.\u00a0
\n\tExperience with ERP systems (Kerridge K8\u00a0advantageous)\u00a0<\/p>\n
