You are responsible for achieving aggressive targets by crafting high-level executive summaries and conducting technical risk assessments. While you will provide physical guarding solutions and electronic security solutions, your primary focus is positioning and delivering integrated security to solve modern-day risks for clients.<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n<p>Effective management of sales and marketing in the region in compliance with G4S business strategy<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelopment of sales strategy specific to the region, through analysis of the region\u2019s business profile, products and services available \/ required, existing customer base, resources and competitors.<br \/>\n\tIdentification of potential new business opportunities through consultation and cooperation with operational management, planned prospecting, leads, cold calling, tender notices.<br \/>\n\tArrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects, in conjunction with operational management where appropriate, to market G4S integrated security solutions.<br \/>\n\tConduct \/ arrange site surveys to identify risks and develop appropriate solution to meet customer needs.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and submit sales proposals \/ tenders to prospective customers. Where necessary, prepare and conduct sales presentation.<br \/>\n\tObtain approval from the Regional Financial Manager that the proposal complies with the PAP Model<br \/>\n\tIn consultation with the ROD and Financial Manager, ensure that annual contract escalations of existing customers are finalised.<\/p>\n<p>Effective performance of Sales and Marketing administrative functions<\/p>\n<p>\tFinalise contract documentation (Service Agreement, Letter of Intent) as per standard terms and conditions, with any variation approved by National Office.<br \/>\n\tPreparation and submission of Contract Schedule to appropriate departments for processing.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that a customer file is maintained, containing a signed copy of the contract, contract schedule, as well as any other relevant documentation.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that Head Office is provided with copies of all signed contracts.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the contract status report is updated on a monthly basis.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the ERP system is constantly updated with all required information on new and existing customers.<br \/>\n\tWhere required by the Regional Operations Director, coordinate Public Relations activities, Company sponsored events, and the control and distribution of corporate gifts.<\/p>\n<p>Effective reporting on regional Sales and Marketing activities<\/p>\n<p>\tPreparation and submission of monthly report to ROD and National Sales and Marketing Director.<br \/>\n\tProvide Financial Manager with accurate information on new and lost business as required.<br \/>\n\tAdvise regional operational management of sales activities, competitors and customer needs.<\/p>\n<p>Health and Safety<\/p>\n<p>\tParticipate in the design\/ development\/ review\/ implementation and monitoring of the branch\/region\/national safety plans for each year.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks<br \/>\n\tReport all safety incidents to the relevant people<br \/>\n\tDiscuss all safety incidents on all levels<br \/>\n\tFollow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting\/committee\/representative\/management<br \/>\n\tAttend safety education and refresher programmes<br \/>\n\tComply with safety policies and procedures at workplace<br \/>\n\tDistribute safety information as and when required<br \/>\n\tWear protective clothing all the time<\/p>\n<p>Ideal Candidate<\/p>\n<p>Qualification &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12\/Matric Equivalent<br \/>\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification (ideally in Sales &amp; Marketing)<br \/>\n\tSalesforce (CRM) Advantageous<br \/>\n\tOwn reliable vehicle and valid drivers license<br \/>\n\tRelevant experience within the corporate sales environment ideally within Integrated Security Systems with extensive experience in selling &amp; designing Electronic Security Solutions<br \/>\n\tMinimum 5 years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of meeting targets.<br \/>\n\tProven ability to engage and negotiate with C-Suite\/Senior Executives.<br \/>\n\tMarketing of products related to integrated solutions<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tComputer Literate (MS Office &amp; Google Workspace)<br \/>\n\tDelivering strategy<br \/>\n\tCollaborating and Cooperating<br \/>\n\tExpertise in Relationship Building and Negotiation.<br \/>\n\tAwareness of Market Environment<br \/>\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.<br \/>\n\tPersuasiveness\/Sales Ability<br \/>\n\tCustomer-centric<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.g4s.co.za\/ ) or<\/p>\n<p>www.linkedin.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com","_company_name":"G4S","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.g4s.co.za\/","_company_tagline":"WHO WE ARE G4S is the world\u2019s leading international security solutions group, and the largest provider of integrated security solutions in South Africa.
