Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute business development strategies to drive new revenue growth within the electronics manufacturing and harnessing sectors
\n\tConduct market research to identify potential clients, competitor activity, and new service opportunities
\n\tIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities within automotive, military, defence, telematics, and related industries
\n\tInitiate and build relationships with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and attendance at industry events and trade shows
\n\tLead the full sales cycle from lead generation and RFQ management through to contract negotiation and closure
\n\tEnsure RFQs are effectively converted into profitable orders, negotiating commercial terms where necessary
\n\tBuild and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and strategic partnerships
\n\tCollaborate with internal production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure technical requirements are accurately scoped and delivered
\n\tPrepare and present compelling proposals, capability presentations, and business cases to key decision-makers
\n\tDevelop annual sales forecasts and budgets aligned with company objectives
\n\tMonitor performance against targets and provide regular pipeline, revenue, and strategic reports to senior management
\n\tSupport marketing initiatives, campaigns, and brand-building efforts to enhance market presence and lead generation
\n\tEnsure exceptional customer experience and resolve client concerns efficiently in collaboration with internal stakeholders
\n\tStay informed of industry developments, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices within electronics manufacturing<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
\n\tMinimum 5-7 years’ experience in business development or senior sales within the electronics manufacturing or related technical sector
\n\tHybrid work environment – must have a fast, reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup, with flexibility to work between home and client visits
\n\tProven experience in contract manufacturing, electronic components, or technical B2B sales
\n\tStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards
\n\tDemonstrated ability to manage the full business development cycle and convert RFQs into confirmed orders
\n\tProficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
\n\tStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, pricing structures, and financial performance
\n\tAbility to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment<\/p>\n
