You will execute established departmental policies and procedures and ensures that all reporting obligations are conducted in line with set frameworks, policies, methodologies and Risk Management Compliance Programme.<\/p>\n<p>What you will bring<\/p>\n<p>Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12<br \/>\n\t2 &#8211; 5 year\u2019s relevant experience in a similar role<br \/>\n\tReporting Experience Essential<br \/>\n\tFinance or Compliance qualification would advantageous\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Additional demonstrable requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tMicrosoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Excel; skilled in Outlook and Word<br \/>\n\tAdministration and organizational skills<br \/>\n\tTime management and prioritization<br \/>\n\tAnti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures<br \/>\n\tClear and effective communication<br \/>\n\tSystematic and detail-oriented approach<\/p>\n<p>What you will be doing<\/p>\n<p>AML &amp; Compliance Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>\tReport potential suspicious or unusual transactions or activity to the Compliance Manager.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse daily cash transaction reports to identify cash threshold transactions above R49,999.99.<br \/>\n\tSubmit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), Terrorist Activity Reports (TARs), and Terrorist Property Reports (TPRs) to the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC).<br \/>\n\tAssist with regulatory requests received from the FIC under the direction of the AML Compliance Manager \/ MLCO.<br \/>\n\tCapture and report all Cash Threshold Transactions via the GoAML platform.<br \/>\n\tEnsure successful submission of all reports on GATR and escalate reporting failures to the AML Compliance Manager and MLCO.<\/p>\n<p>Data &amp; System Support<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide statistical data for monthly Management Information reports.<br \/>\n\tAssist with collating data for Directives or Remedial Actions relating to reporting obligations.<br \/>\n\tSupport GATR \u2013 Adaptris with system implementations and changes related to reporting.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with IT on system implementations or changes impacting reporting processes.<\/p>\n<p>KYC function:<\/p>\n<p>\tObtain all KYC documents as stipulated in the Risk Management Compliance Programme (RMCP) to satisfy FICA requirements.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with Lease Administrators (LAs) to secure necessary documentation.<br \/>\n\tVerify accuracy of documents before uploading to DocFox and maintain client\/tenant profiles.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all required documents are uploaded and risk rating questions are correctly completed for accurate risk allocation.<br \/>\n\tRefer all Sanctioned and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) alerts, as well as risk rating queries, to the AML Compliance Manager.<br \/>\n\tPerform ongoing due diligence on all clients\/tenants.<br \/>\n\tConduct PEP\/PIP\/Sanctions and Adverse Media Screening for new and renewal applications.<br \/>\n\tProcess potential daily watchlist matches and update registers accordingly.<br \/>\n\tEnsure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met on all deals.<br \/>\n\tAssist business units with KYC-related queries and provide guidance to LAs.<br \/>\n\tEnsure remediation commitments are fulfilled.<br \/>\n\tMaintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, group policies, and agreed levels of authority.<br \/>\n\tProvide monthly management information and detailed statistics on KYC matters.<br \/>\n\tCreate access folders and update documents in line with POPI policy for credit vetting and internal audits.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all client\/tenant information is relevant, confidential, and securely stored.<br \/>\n\tSave all KYC communication in secured files.<br \/>\n\tControl confidential documents as per POPI policy, ensuring no sensitive information is left in open view.<br \/>\n\tApply stringent Technology and Application policy: protect passwords, avoid sharing, and lock workstations when unattended.<\/p>\n<p>Enhanced Due Diligence:<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct annual EDD reviews, or when trigger events occur, for all high-risk clients\/tenants.<br \/>\n\tRefer any changes identified during EDD that affect client risk ratings to the AML Compliance Manager.<br \/>\n\tCarry out thorough background investigations on tenants.<br \/>\n\tCompile detailed investigation reports to support business units in making informed decisions.<br \/>\n\tIdentify Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and tenants presenting elevated AML risk to Excellerate.<\/p>\n<p>Transaction Monitoring:<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor and investigate manual and system-generated alerts to identify potential suspicious transactions or unusual activities.<br \/>\n\tInvestigate all sanctions and PEP hits to determine whether they are true positives or false matches.<br \/>\n\tReport confirmed sanctions\/PEP matches to the AML Compliance Manager.<br \/>\n\tAssist with internal investigations relating to SARs, STRs, TARs, and TPRs.<br \/>\n\tDraft reports for clients who deposit excessive cash into Excellerate\u2019s bank account.<br \/>\n\tConduct investigations to determine whether activity is illegal or legitimate.<br \/>\n\tImprove transaction monitoring processes and prioritize risks effectively.<br \/>\n\tAccurately document rationale for case closure or escalation, ensuring clear audit trails.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:10th March,2026<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Excellerate JHI","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"At Excellerate JHI, we offer comprehensive guidance and support to property owners and occupiers, covering every aspect of their property strategies.
