Synopsis<\/p>\n
\tTo evaluate and present applications for funding and structure deals that contribute towards unit and IDC objectives as well as industry development goals. This would include performing the financial and\/or technical and\/or marketing due diligence functions and ensuring risk identification and mitigation.<\/p>\n

Financial \/ Shareholder Returns<\/p>\n
\tEvaluate and effectively structure transactions with detailed application of IDC financing instruments (where applicable\/appropriate)<\/p>\n
Internal \/ Operational Processes<\/p>\n
\tEvaluate applications for finance (financial, technical or marketing disciplines) through conducting due diligences\/investigations
\n\tDeal structuring – Designing and negotiating the financial, EHS, legal and other relationships between the client and IDC for the specific deal (where applicable)<\/p>\n
Risk identification and mitigation<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in due diligences
\n\tDeal Optimisation – Ensuring that the deal is aligned with the strategic objectives of the unit and will contribute to meeting industry development goals
\n\tAccount management function up to first disbursement
\n\tPrepare and submit basic assessments and comprehensive credit proposals that meets the IDC funding requirements.
\n\tEnsuring accurate client data management<\/p>\n
Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain meaningful relationships with enquirers, applicants and portfolio clients in conjunction with different support functions in the IDC.
\n\tTo effectively interact with different SBU\u2019s and departments in order to fulfil the process requirements related to any specific business transaction.
\n\tManage and enhance the levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence.
\n\tLiaise, communicate and promote the unit externally
\n\tLearning, Leadership & People Growth
\n\tDrive and manage own development to enhance own competencies
\n\tParticipate in knowledge sharing in the team and cross functional
\n\tMentoring and acting as a coach to Business Analysts<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical honours degree
\n\t5-8 years related experience of which 2-3 years should be in assessment as well as closing of transactions (i.e. management of approved deals up to first drawdown, including ensuring timely conclusion of legal agreements)
\n\tDeclared competent in two due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical or Financial)
\n\tGrounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines
\n\tExperience in interpretation of financial statements
\n\tSector-specific knowledge would be advantageous
\n\tKnowledge of financial products as used by IDC<\/p>\n
