RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS:<\/p>\n
\tManage day-to-day warehouse activities and workflow.
\n\tEnsure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
\n\tMaintain warehouse organisation, layout and housekeeping standards.<\/p>\n
INVENTORY & STOCK CONTROL:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate stock levels and records.
\n\tConduct cycle counts and stock audits.
\n\tInvestigate and resolve stock variances and losses.<\/p>\n
HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE:<\/p>\n
\tEnforce health and safety policies and procedures.
\n\tConduct safety training and risk assessments.
\n\tEnsure safe use of equipment and compliance with regulations.<\/p>\n
LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION COORDINATION:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate inbound and outbound deliveries.
\n\tLiaise with transport providers, suppliers and internal departments.
\n\tEnsure on-time order fulfilment and customer service targets.<\/p>\n
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and implement efficiency improvements.
\n\tOptimise warehouse space and workflows.
\n\tIntroduce best practices and standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n
COST & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor labour, equipment and operational costs.
\n\tReduce waste, damage and inefficiencies.
\n\tManage warehouse budgets and resources effectively.<\/p>\n
REPORTING & PERFORMANCE MONITORING:<\/p>\n
\tTrack KPIs such as accuracy, productivity and turnaround times.
\n\tPrepare operational reports for management.
\n\tUse data to drive continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
TEAM LEADERSHIP:<\/p>\n
\tSupervise, train and schedule warehouse staff.
\n\tAllocate workloads and monitor productivity.
\n\tManage performance, discipline and staff development.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Management or related field.
\n\tRelevant certifications (advantage): Inventory\/Stock Control, Health & Safety, Forklift\/Material Handling.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t3\u20135 years warehouse or logistics experience.
\n\t2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
\n\tExperience managing teams and warehouse operations.
\n\tExperience working with transport and distribution processes.<\/p>\n
