Role purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo manage the Finance function surrounding the rental portfolios which entails base stations and office leases.
\n\tEngaging with the regional property and key stakeholders on a daily basis, accountable for compliance and reporting of the transactional processing in a timely and accurate manner.
\n\tThe role will manage and monitor entries posted to these ledgers, month end closure and related reporting for Financial Year End.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will also possess excellent analytical and operational capabilities as well as strong financial technical skills.<\/p>\n
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:<\/p>\n
Lease accounting<\/p>\n
\tMonthly analysis of operational accounts to identify trends and anomalies
\n\tJournal recommendations based on above analysis to ensure complete and accurate accounting
\n\tAnalysis and reporting of contracts and the Real Estate System<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tAnalyses of reported data for key trends and anomalies, exception reporting to be investigated and resolution of exceptions reported to management
\n\tLease costs at a site level
\n\tEnsure that material risks and opportunities are identified and reported in a timely and accurate manner.<\/p>\n
Core competencies, knowledge and experience<\/p>\n
\tPlanning, Execution and Quality Results
\n\tCommunication, Teamwork & Collaboration
\n\tJudgement, Decision Making & Integrity
\n\tWorking knowledge of Accounting principles
\n\tExcellent working knowledge of MS
\n\tOffice, especially Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
\n\tSAP ERP and HFM would be an advantage
\n\tManage internal and external relationships with key stakeholders<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 2+ years relevant experience
\n\tTechnology and Telco experience would be an advantage
\n\tEnsuring lease accounting is accurate and complete through review of monthly analysis
\n\tEnsuring depreciation and interest is complete and accurate
\n\tEnsuring additional journals and adjustments are posted to ensure accurate and complete records for example:
\n\tReallocation journals
\n\tIntercompany journals
\n\tProviding supporting information to tax and provide support where required
\n\tPreparation of SOX controls
\n\tReporting to Finance Business partners on general ledger accounts
\n\tPerform and assist with ad-hoc projects as required<\/p>\n
Must have technical \/ professional qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelors degree in Accounting or similar<\/p>\n
