Job Purpose\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStrategic planning and design of all Discovery real-estate nationwide.<\/p>\n
Key Outputs may include but are not limited to<\/p>\n
Space Projections:<\/p>\n
\tQuarterly \/ bi-yearly meetings with Company heads (for relevant space allocated.
\n\tRamp up projections on growth projections and required space to meet the relevant needs.
\n\tTracking, maintaining and flagging growth throughout their portfolio
\n\tBlocking and stacking when required to resolve any unexpected growth.<\/p>\n
Design:<\/p>\n
\tTaking and interpreting of the brief from the client (with the assigned project manager)
\n\tPresenting conceptual layout, design & 3D\u2019s(Revit work) and preparing of PowerPoint presentations where required
\n\tDetailed design and working drawings for project hand over (Shop fitting, finishes, detailed drawings, demolition etc)
\n\tSourcing materials, products and furniture and specifying
\n\tDealing with suppliers when sourcing or designing new
\n\tDesign input and co-collaboration with Project team throughout project process \u2013 revisions, changes, site meetings, contractor meetings, development meetings, regular site inspections, problem solving etc<\/p>\n
Final snagging on design items<\/p>\n
\tClient follow up \/ project review with client after hand over.
\n\tAssisting incoming external tenants with design, costing and setup in their new space.<\/p>\n
Project Management on moves:<\/p>\n
\tCosting of projects
\n\tReview & sign off of all Junior costs and layouts
\n\tSite review and pre move walks to ensure what is on plan is as per drawings
\n\tRegional site visits for bigger projects.
\n\tMove documentations to be compiled and communicated in times provided
\n\tMove communications to move co-ordinator
\n\tLiaising, discussion and planning relevant move with contractors (move planning and schedule)
\n\tSite snagging (to assist Jr\u2019s where required)
\n\tSite visits to regional buildings for bigger projects.
\n\tManaging Junior workload, quality of work and accuracy of output
\n\tChange management
\n\tFinancial management
\n\tManaging up to 10 trades per move or project.
\n\tLiaising with regional building coordinators when moves take place.<\/p>\n
Admin:<\/p>\n
\tCompiling costs based on quote
\n\tManaging jobcard SLA\u2019s logged on Planon
\n\tManaging filing in OneDrive to comprise of all relevant documentation for each reference number i.e. approvals, quotes, invoices etc.
\n\tManaging incoming requests for stock and processing orders when required
\n\tManaging teams OneDrive filing to comprise of all relevant documentation for each RFC
\n\tCoordinating any invoice queries from Project admin
\n\tCoordinating any order number queries
\n\tMonthly & bi-annual documentation for business \u2013 growth reflections, occupied workstations, patterns of growth per business, etc
\n\tManaging and delegating workload between Space planning team.
\n\tOccupied workstation report
\n\tAdvising on change to charge outs following moves
\n\tConducting and providing support doing ergonomic assessments for all Discovery staff.
\n\tUpdate and communicate all cost center changes after moves.
\n\tUpdate all changes on Live drawings after moves.
\n\tScoping of existing tenant offices to assess furniture stock for relocation purposes.<\/p>\n
Branding and signage:<\/p>\n
\tTaking and interpreting of the brief from the client for branding and signage projects.
\n\tLiaising with suppliers and contractors.
\n\tObtaining quotes.
\n\tSite visits with suppliers prior to installations<\/p>\n
Qualification & Work Experience<\/p>\n
\tRelevant qualification in interior Design & Space Planning
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in space planning
\n\tMinimum of 3 years in interior designing
\n\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in project management<\/p>\n
Technical Skills or Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tAutoCAD
\n\tRevit<\/p>\n
