Your mission is to translate the division\u2019s commercial strategy into flawless execution at the point of sale (POS). You will lead a high-performing team to ensure that L&#8217;Or\u00e9al brands (such as L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, and Dark &amp; Lovely) achieve maximum visibility, availability, and market share growth across all retail channels.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Field Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0Execution Strategy: Define and implement the national field sales strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall CPD commercial objectives.<br \/>\n\tResource Optimization: Structure and deploy the field force (direct or outsourced) to ensure optimal coverage of high-priority stores and regions.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0 \u00a0Budget Management: Manage the national field sales budget, ensuring a high Return on Investment (ROI) for all in-store activities.<\/p>\n<p>Operational Excellence (The &#8220;L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Way&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0\u00a0Perfect Store Execution: Drive the &#8220;Perfect Store&#8221; pillars: Availability (OSA), Visibility (Planograms), Pricing compliance, and Promotion execution.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0 \u00a0In-Store Visibility: Negotiate and secure secondary placements, gondola ends, and cross-merchandising opportunities to outpace competitors.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0\u00a0Launch Excellence: Ensure 100% speed-to-market for New Product Innovations (NPIs) across all South African provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Team Management &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0\u00a0Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Regional Field Managers and Field Sales Representatives.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Performance Management: Set clear KPIs (Sales targets, strike rates, share of shelf) and conduct regular performance reviews.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Talent Pipeline: Identify and groom future sales talent within the organization, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Data &amp; Digital Transformation<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0CRM &amp; Reporting: Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or internal L&#8217;Or\u00e9al apps) to track real-time field data and provide actionable insights to the Commercial and Marketing teams.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0\u00a0Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing shifts, and retail trends within the South African market to proactively suggest course corrections.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0\u00a0Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure stock availability aligns with promotional calendars.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0\u00a0Retailer Relationships: Maintain strategic relationships with regional heads of major South African retailers to facilitate smooth operational execution.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Education &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0Degree: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters or MBA is a plus).<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Experience: 8\u201310 years of experience in Sales or Trade Marketing within the FMCG sector, with at least 3\u20135 years in a senior leadership role managing a large field force.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the South African retail landscape (Modern Trade, Pharmacy, and Wholesale).<\/p>\n<p>Technical Skills:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0Proven track record of driving sales growth through field execution.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Advanced analytical skills (ability to turn data into commercial &#8220;wins&#8221;).<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Proficiency in CRM software and advanced Excel.<\/p>\n<p>Soft Skills:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u00a0Entrepreneurial Spirit: A &#8220;test and learn&#8221; mindset with a passion for winning.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Communication: Exceptional negotiation and influential leadership skills.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.loreal.com ) or<\/p>\n<p>careers.loreal.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/careers.loreal.com","_company_name":"L'Or\u00e9al","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.loreal.com","_company_tagline":"The world leader in beauty, present in 150 countries on five continents.
