They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (throughout the entire TSAM business, Manufacturing, Sales &amp; Marketing, TFS, and Hino &amp; Suppliers) and the dealer network.\u00a0 The candidate must possess very strong networking and relationship building skills. This position forms part of the Sales &amp; Marketing Group and is based in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop &amp; implement the strategy for expanding connected services regionally, into all 54 African countries.<br \/>\n\tPrimary focus on developing the necessary hardware product and regional expansion of MyToyota App for each region to support customer first approach, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) mobility strategy and each distributor\u2019s value chain enhancement.<br \/>\n\tPlanning and directing the work of business technology professionals, monitoring their work and providing guidance, ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the team.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with various stakeholders to establish and drive common understanding in terms of project(s) direction.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCommunicate standard requirements to supplier in line with specifications.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and communicate deviances and employ mitigating measures to keep project in line with specifications.<br \/>\n\tLead the delivery of technology and digitization initiatives for the various departments and the dealer network.<br \/>\n\tCreate and maintain an environment that encourages collaboration and alignment between various divisions in the Manufacturing as well as the Sales &amp; Marketing Group.<br \/>\n\tPreparation of documents &amp; time schedules<br \/>\n\tSelf- management and leadership development<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate strong skills in developing presentations for new strategy and business model implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Connected\/MaaS service planning, business development and sales:<\/p>\n<p>\tLeads the service planning\/operating in MyToyota regional expansion project introduction project as project leader.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand customer needs, and planning\/design of services and businesses in the connected and mobility fields.<br \/>\n\tPlanning My Toyota APP and e-Toyota One implementation plan into the other African countries from a service\/sales perspective and plan suitable product introduction.<br \/>\n\tDevelop the departmental strategic direction, regional connected strategy in Africa and implementation plan from a business perspective.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/p>\n<p>\tNQF 6 level qualification (360 credits &#8211; level 8 framework) in\u00a0Engineering, B Com, Business Sciences<br \/>\n\t5-7 years working in a project management and sales role<br \/>\n\t3 years of management experience<br \/>\n\tBusiness experience with the theme of solving social issues<br \/>\n\tBasic sales and planning skillset<br \/>\n\tHave IT literacy and experience in IT utilization<\/p>\n<p>COMPETENCIES:<\/p>\n<p>\tAccurate Information gathering and analysis leading to sound decision making<br \/>\n\tAppropriate judgement and problem solving<br \/>\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\tPlanning and communication of short, midterm and long term initiatives<br \/>\n\tPrioritization and allocation of resources<br \/>\n\tIntegrity<br \/>\n\tAwareness and commitment to our mission<br \/>\n\tAwareness of situations and decisiveness<br \/>\n\tEstablishing framework and systems for organisational review<br \/>\n\tFeedback of evaluation and long-term development of others<br \/>\n\tStrategic review of work methods<br \/>\n\tNegotiation and good communication<br \/>\n\tRelationship building<br \/>\n\tMotivating people<br \/>\n\tAppropriate evaluation and feedback<br \/>\n\tTeamwork<br \/>\n\tSelf-starter and highly disciplined with ability to work without close supervision.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT DIMENSIONS:<\/p>\n<p>\tStrategic and logical thinking<br \/>\n\tLeadership<br \/>\n\tPassion for the business<br \/>\n\tAttention to detail and sticking to achievement<br \/>\n\tCustomer first mind<br \/>\n\tAction oriented<\/p>\n<p>NICE-TO_HAVE (DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL):<\/p>\n<p>\tPost Graduate<br \/>\n\tFrench speaking<br \/>\n\tSales &amp; Marketing general knowledge<br \/>\n\tTechnical Background<br \/>\n\tGeneral Automotive business knowledge<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.toyota.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>jobs.toyota.co.za<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/jobs.toyota.co.za","_company_name":"Toyota","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.toyota.co.za","_company_tagline":"Since our establishment in 1961, Toyota has become as much a part of South African culture as the vibrant South Africans that drive our vehicles.
