Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDrive and support strategic development objectives and secures relevant approvals
\n\tContributes to the development, implementation, and review of strategies
\n\tPrepare and administer funding proposals, expressions of interest, bids and similar documents;
\n\tProject development budgets
\n\tMonitor, control and approve project expenditure against budget
\n\tPackage projects effectively to secure Board approval including feasibility studies financial analysis, market studies and design proposals
\n\tOversee tender \/ bid \/ proposal process including preparation of bid documents, bid adjudication and awards
\n\tNegotiate project related agreements; secure the most attractive contract terms for the company within given mandates; and take responsibility for project contract management
\n\tEnsure adherence to company policies, procedure and the delegated authorities framework
\n\tDevelop and manage relationships between the organisation and key players to facilitate effective development of housing
\n\tIdentify and maintain new and existing relationships with key stakeholders
\n\tApply an understanding of the complex political dynamics at play in housing development to manage relationships effectively and drive projects to successful completion<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification as a built environment professional either as a Quantity Surveyor and,
\n\tConstruction Manager or related fields<\/p>\n
The following experience is required:<\/p>\n
\tExtensive experience managing large property\/land development projects from initiation to delivery
\n\tAt least 10 years\u2019 experience in residential property development
\n\tExperience in affordable housing development
\n\tExperience in the creation of development briefs, proposals and reports
\n\tDemonstrated experience in building and services design, coupled with a strong interest in innovative and sustainable solutions.
\n\tExperience in construction project management, cost estimating, budgeting and feasibility assessments for development projects
\n\tExperience in managing professional teams<\/p>\n
