\tThe Group Procurement team within Shared Services has an opportunity for a Business Analyst based in Bellville, Cape Town. This role supports the Sanlam\/Santam Group and will play a key part in establishing and operating the centralised Group Procurement Department to deliver efficient, compliant and high\u2011quality procurement services<\/p>\n
What will you do?<\/p>\n
\tGroup Procurement requires a Business Analyst with procurement-related experience and understanding to assist with the planning, design, development and rollout of efficient business, procurement and operational systems that support organisational functions and processes across the Sanlam Group.<\/p>\n

\tProvide support with business stakeholders to identify procurement-related challenges, improvement opportunities, and areas requiring strategic intervention.
\n\tCollaborate with stakeholders to address business issues and formulate optimal procurement\u2011focused solutions.
\n\tContribute to the conceptual development of initiatives, including solution proposals and the preparation of inputs for business case development.
\n\tSupport the clarification of business requirements, development of user stories, and preparation of specifications.
\n\tAnalyse and deconstruct relevant business processes to understand operational impacts across the organisation.
\n\tProvide support in procurement system design activities and user acceptance testing where required.
\n\tEnsure that implemented solutions align with agreed business expectations and quality standards.
\n\tParticipate in quality assurance processes, user acceptance testing, and system adoption activities.
\n\tInvestigate production incidents and change requests, working with development teams to identify and implement appropriate resolutions.
\n\tCollaborate with internal stakeholders across Group Procurement, as well as with change management, SGT, training, design, development, and testing teams.
\n\tAdhere to organisational policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies.<\/p>\n
Qualification and experience<\/p>\n
\tDegree related to business analysis and information systems e.g. B. Com
\n\tRelevant Tertiary qualification or certificate\/diploma in Business Analysis from an industry recognized training institution
\n\t3 – 5 years\u2019 experience as Business Analyst e.g. CBAP will be advantageous in Financial service or procurement environment
\n\tExperience with working in an agile environment e.g. Scrum, managing product backlogs and writing user stories
\n\tExperience in the use of software and process modeling methodologies and tools including experience working in SAP\/ JDE
\n\tExperience in workshop facilitation and communication with stakeholders both internal and external
\n\tExperience in the use of project management techniques and methodology advantageous
\n\tExperience in the insurance industry regulatory and compliance environment advantageous
\n\tExperience in reverse\u2011engineering business processes and systems to identify operational gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
