ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES<\/p>\n
Assume responsibility for the implementation of effective operations management policies, procedures, and planning.<\/p>\n
\tAssist the Senior FM Manager in developing short and long-term goals and plans.
\n\tExecute established operational goals and ensure that the FM contract plans are complemented and supported.
\n\tAssist the Senior FM Manager in day-to-day tasks as needed<\/p>\n
Assume responsibility for the effective operations management of facilities.<\/p>\n
\tCoordinates and arranges third-party services of maintenance contractors, suppliers, vendors, etDeals with contractors daily.
\n\tAssist with the administrative duties as expected by the client.
\n\tRespond to emergency call-outs or ensure emergencies are seen to
\n\tDay-to-day running and control as set out in the scope of service
\n\tEnsures that quotations, invoices, and Purchase Orders are received and processed timeously.
\n\tConducts periodic inspections of facilities, assesses problems and needs, and implements improvements in operations as appropriate.
\n\tCoordinates maintenance activities. Ensures that facilities are clean, well-maintained, and in good repair. Directs preventive maintenance procedures as appropriate.
\n\tEnsures that the Nestl\u00e8 building complies with established procedures, policies, regulations, and codes in conjunction with the LandLord<\/p>\n
Conduct scheduled inspections of systems and participate in suggestions for improvements as necessary.<\/p>\n
\tConduct scheduled inspections of systems, building -interior and -exterior maintenance
\n\tCompliance with statutory requirements concerning Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards
\n\tAssist with arranging fire drills
\n\tIdentifies threats and develops action plans for the prevention of incidents
\n\tAssist with financial forecasting duties, and generate and update schedules for building expenditures
\n\tEnsures that facility operations are cost-effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints.
\n\tResearches vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that equipment and services are of acceptable quality, competitively priced, and delivered on timi.benchmarking.
\n\tEnsures that all maintenance agreements are current.<\/p>\n
Assumes responsibility for ensuring professional business relations with vendors, contractors, and trade professionals.<\/p>\n
\tWorks to develop and maintain productive business relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, etc.
\n\tActs as a liaison between the Company and external contacts.
\n\tEnsures effective coordination of external services with Company operations.
\n\tObtains and conveys information as appropriate.
\n\tPromotes goodwill and a positive image of the Company.<\/p>\n
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.<\/p>\n
\tEnsures that the work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained.
\n\tCompletes special projects as assigned.<\/p>\n
EDUCATION\/CERTIFICATION:<\/p>\n
\tPost matric qualification. Additional related maintenance and property management training are preferred.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/p>\n
\tAppropriate experience and demonstrable achievement of the required functions and duties are essential.
\n\tExperience in Facilities Management environment.
\n\tExperience in working on CAFMS systems, preferably Broll FM systems, applications, and supporting software.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
