\tHello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated Collections & Recoveries Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of rental collections, arrears recovery, and asset repossession across the Hello Rides motorcycle fleet. The role is critical to protecting revenue, managing credit risk, and enforcing contract compliance by combining banking transaction analysis, driver behaviour investigation, telematics data, and direct driver engagement.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage daily and weekly rental collections across multiple delivery platforms
\n\tMonitor expected vs actual collections by driver count, ZAR value, and platform cycles
\n\tAnalyse Hello Paisa bank inflows and investigate missing or diverted income
\n\tWork with telematics teams to validate driver activity and trip data
\n\tEngage directly with delinquent drivers and define recovery strategies
\n\tAuthorise repossessions and contract terminations when required
\n\tProvide weekly management reports on collections, arrears, and recoveries
\n\tDesign and build the collections team, workflows, and KPIs as the business scales<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\t5\u201310 years\u2019 experience in collections, recoveries, or credit control
\n\tExperience in asset-backed lending or vehicle finance recoveries
\n\tStrong ability to analyse transactional and behavioural data<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Credit, or Risk Management
\n\tExperience in fintech, fleet leasing, or rental recoveries
\n\tPrior experience building or leading collections teams<\/p>\n
