telesales) and physical (retail, wholesale, kiosks, marketplaces) routes to market into a unified, low Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) distribution engine.<br \/>\n\tThe role exists to prove scalable acquisition models, optimise conversion and activation performance, and establish commercially viable channel economics that reduce reliance on traditional field sales.<br \/>\n\tThis is a founder\u2011mode execution role accountable for revenue contribution, acquisition cost discipline, activation quality, and channel performance visibility.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibility Areas &amp; Associated Tasks<\/p>\n<p>Owned Direct Channels (Digital Acquisition Engine)<\/p>\n<p>\tLaunch and optimise ecommerce and digital commerce (e.g. WhatsApp &amp; Social commerce) as both transactional and lead generation channels<br \/>\n\tBuild and manage telesales conversion playbooks<br \/>\n\tDefine assisted vs self\u2011serve acquisition flows<br \/>\n\tOwn CRM routing, prioritisation, and funnel performance<br \/>\n\tTrack conversion rates, CAC, activation, and early churn<br \/>\n\tTest messaging, offers, and onboarding journeys<br \/>\n\tExit underperforming funnel components<\/p>\n<p>Retail &amp; Wholesale Distribution (Physical Access Engine)<\/p>\n<p>\tSecure retail listings with strategic retailers and wholesalers<br \/>\n\tStructure revenue share, distribution, or embedded acquiring agreements<br \/>\n\tSecure and manage retail device listings<br \/>\n\tDrive sell\u2011through and activation performance<br \/>\n\tDevelop wholesale distribution models targeting informal and hybrid markets<br \/>\n\tDesign and deploy kiosk pilots using hub\u2011and\u2011spoke model<br \/>\n\tLaunch and manage marketplace listings (Takealot, Amazon, Makro)<br \/>\n\tMonitor sell\u2011in, sell\u2011through, and activation economics<br \/>\n\tStructure defensible commercial constructs<br \/>\n\tAlign retail and wholesale partnership designs to Alternative Distribution Payments strategic priorities<br \/>\n\tPresent structured deal proposals to Executive Committee<\/p>\n<p>Omni Channel Integration &amp; Lifecycle Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain a unified merchant acquisition funnel across all channels<br \/>\n\tStandardise onboarding and activation playbooks<br \/>\n\tDefine clear handover processes to field or support teams<br \/>\n\tEstablish channel\u2011level performance dashboards<br \/>\n\tIdentify and remove friction in onboarding and activation<\/p>\n<p>Commercial &amp; Unit Economics Discipline<\/p>\n<p>\tOwn channel\u2011level CAC and blended CAC performance<br \/>\n\tTrack channel revenue contribution<br \/>\n\tImprove conversion\u2011to\u2011activation ratio<br \/>\n\tReduce time\u2011to\u2011activation<br \/>\n\tMonitor early churn and retention<br \/>\n\tProvide weekly and monthly performance reporting to the Executive Head<\/p>\n<p>Pilot, Scale or Exit Decision Framework<\/p>\n<p>\tLaunch channel pilots with defined commercial success criteria<br \/>\n\tConduct structured economic validation before scaling<br \/>\n\tScale viable models responsibly<br \/>\n\tExit or redesign underperforming initiatives<br \/>\n\tInform long\u2011term structural decisions as channels mature<\/p>\n<p>Key Competencies Required<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and optimise financial drivers<br \/>\n\tExecution excellence with the ability to convert strategy into measurable outcomes<br \/>\n\tData\u2011driven decision making using analytics to guide direction and priorities<br \/>\n\tDeep channel strategy and design capability for scalable go\u2011to\u2011market models<br \/>\n\tStrong stakeholder influence and cross\u2011functional collaboration skills<br \/>\n\tHigh operational rigour with disciplined process management<br \/>\n\tAdaptability and effectiveness in fast\u2011evolving business environments<\/p>\n<p>Experience &amp;
