\tAs a Data Centre Managed Services Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, you will play an essential role in maintaining our clients’ IT infrastructure and systems. Your expertise will help keep everything running smoothly by proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems. You’ll be the go-to person to restore services and ensure our clients’ satisfaction.
\n\tAs a Data Centre Managed Services Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining our data center.
\n\tYou will be essential to the implementation and maintenance of our process control systems, which will guarantee the effective and secure running of our operations.
\n\tYou will also help with the day-to-day operations of our data center by providing support to all areas of IT including VMware vSphere Virtualization, NSX, ESXi Hypervisor and Platform (vCPE), Storage Management, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Administration and Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/p>\n
Key Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tExpert in deploying and managing services on VMware (vSphere), Azure, AWS and other virtual platforms as needed
\n\tFamiliarity with managing workloads across multiple hybrid cloud environments
\n\tDeployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows servers
\n\tStrong experience configuring, troubleshooting and tuning system hardware and software configurations for performance and reliability
\n\tDiagnose and resolve complex systems issues with multiple influencing factors
\n\tIncident response to system alerts, serve as point of escalation for after-hours issues
\n\tBackup Technology (Disaster\/Recovery\/Restore)
\n\tExperience with HP 3Par, EMC, Netapp Storage Platforms (advantageous)
\n\tMonitoring tool and deployment automation development
\n\tServer Administration<\/p>\n
Academic Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree\/Diploma in Computer Science or System Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
\n\tMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
\n\tCompTIA Security+
\n\tVMware Certified Professional (VCP)
\n\tCompTIA Network+
\n\tCloud certs: AZ-104, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
\n\tAny of the Storage SAN certs: NetApp NCDA, Dell EMC Proven Professional<\/p>\n
Required Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 3 – 5 years of experience with Intel platforms including a combination of the following: Windows Server Administration, Linux \/ Unix Server Administration, Storage Administration
\n\tExperience with Local Area Networks (LAN)
\n\tExperience with Wide Area Networks (WAN)
\n\tExperience with Storage Area Networks
\n\tExperience with Scripting\/development in tools such as PowerShell (Highly advantageous)
\n\tExperience with Active Directory (group policies)
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\n\tStorage Systems (NetApp, DELL utility, HP Primera)
\n\tExperience Windows SCCM server patching<\/p>\n
