Job Purpose:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe position of a Finance Administrator is required for the National Bargaining Council for the Private Security Sector (\u201cNBCPSS\u201d) in terms of its establishment Section 29(15)(a) of the Labour Relations Act as amended. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for performing full a range of ongoing finance, administrative and office support functions to facilitate efficient and effective financial operations.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of an appropriate Grade 12 certificate and\/or equivalent.
\n\tPost Matric Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or relevant equivalent.
\n\t1 \u2013 2 years\u2019 experience in a finance administrative role.<\/p>\n
Knowledge\/Skills Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBasic Accounting
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of financial principles and processes (IFRS, Tax Regulations and other applicable legislation)
\n\tInternation Financial Reporting Standards
\n\tProcurement policies, finance policies, best practice and processes
\n\tKnowledge of Xero and other accounting software\u2019s
\n\tB-BBEE Framework
\n\tMicrosoft Office Knowledge with emphasis on Excel<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPerform a client services function, receiving referred clients to enquire about specific cases and opening cases\/files for those parties lodging a dispute if required.
\n\tPreparation and submission debtors\u2019 and creditors\u2019 reconciliations.
\n\tCapture all supplier invoices on Xero daily, ensuring all invoices are valid Tax invoices and the correct VAT is applied.
\n\tPrepare monthly analysis of the creditors list.
\n\tAssist customers in resolving queries.
\n\tAssisting auditors as and when required.
\n\tAssist in the acquisition of good and services.
\n\tKeep record of fixed asset in their register whenever assets are acquired and ensure that they are bar-coded and updated in the system and in the asset register.
\n\tPerform physical assets verification.
\n\tUpdate the insurance company of all new assets acquired, as well as disposals.
\n\tKeep records of assets to be disposed.
\n\tFile all documents.
\n\tAssist accountant with ad hoc duties<\/p>\n
