Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Group Mineral Resources Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of the mineral resource estimation process. This position ensures that all geological modelling, exploratory data analysis, geostatistical modelling, preparation of resource statements, and statutory or regulatory reporting are conducted to the highest standards, supporting the company\u2019s business objectives and compliance requirements. \u00a0The incumbent is expected to travel to various sites in the Northern Cape from time to time.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tHonours degree in Geology, Geoscience, Mining Engineering, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree preferred).
\n\tProfessional registration with a recognised geological or mining institution (e.g., SACNASP, GSSA, AusIMM).<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tExtensive experience (10+ years) in mineral resource estimation, geological modelling, and resource reporting within the mining sector.
\n\tProven expertise in geostatistical methods, resource classification, and use of industry-standard software (e.g., Micromine, Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan, Leapfrog).
\n\tStrong understanding of international mineral resource reporting codes and regulatory frameworks, in particular JORC and SAMREC.
\n\tDemonstrated leadership and team management skills.
\n\tExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.<\/p>\n
