The tasks you’ll perform<\/p>\n
\tPerform precise control and instrumentation engineering designs, calculations, and system configurations.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure all C&I designs comply with project requirements, industry standards, and quality expectations.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with the drafting team to support the development of instrumentation, control system, and loop-related drawings.\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines to maintain full design alignment and integration.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop comprehensive C&I technical documentation, including scopes of work, material take\u2011offs, instrument specifications, and datasheets.\u00a0
\n\tPrepare technical tender packages and provide C&I engineering input for the procurement of instruments, control systems, and related equipment.\u00a0
\n\tReview vendor documentation\u2014such as instrument datasheets, control system architecture, and I\/O schedules\u2014and distribute relevant information for interface checks and system integration.\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of SANS and international design codes and standards\u00a0<\/p>\n
The expertise you’ll bring<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent with a reputable institution.\u00a0
\n\t7-10 years postgraduate experience in a similar position.\u00a0
\n\tRegistration as an ECSA Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist is advantageous.
\n\tSouth African Citizen of Permanent Resident
\n\tCape Town based
\n\tExtremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tBuild and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
\n\tDisplay the core values and ethos of the business.
\n\tSolid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tAbility to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables
\n\tDemonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.\u00a0<\/p>\n
