Description<\/p>\n
\tAccurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting).
\n\tCarry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner.
\n\tConduct servicing according to MAN specifications and service sheet.
\n\tEnsure workshop quality, safety and security procedures are adhered to at all times.
\n\tReport any vehicle faults other than those on the job card.
\n\tWork accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards.
\n\tConduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade: 12 Matric Certificate.
\n\tN3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificate.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tGood communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
\n\tCustomer focused with a results driven approach Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
\n\tWork independently though being a team player.
\n\tWork well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.
\n\tMust be willing to work on standby.
\n\tCode 14 driver’s license.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tTrade Certificate experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry – 5 years.
\n\tMAN and \/ or VW heavy commercial vehicles – 3 years.
\n\tMAN CATS 3- 1 year.<\/p>\n
