Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a catering unit leading daily operations, ensuring the highest food service standards, and driving innovative, client-focused events and functions. As the Project Manager, you\u2019ll be responsible for managing the assigned unit in alignment with the sector\u2019s strategic objectives, contractual requirements, and compliance standards. You\u2019ll oversee food production, service delivery, team performance, and client satisfaction \u2014 ensuring the seamless execution of all catering operations.<\/p>\n
Education and Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Food & Beverage Services (preferred)
\n\t10+ years\u2019 experience in catering or hospitality management (essential)
\n\tProven track record in competitive and sensitive markets
\n\tProject management experience within hospitality or catering (advantageous)
\n\tExperience in change management and unit mobilization (beneficial)
\n\tStrong financial acumen in costing, budgeting, and forecasting
\n\tLeadership experience in managing diverse teams
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n

\tManage daily unit operations in line with strategy, contracts, and compliance standards
\n\tEnsure efficient, high-quality food production and service delivery
\n\tOversee the execution of creative events and catering functions<\/p>\n
Menu & Food Production Oversight<\/p>\n
\tLead menu planning, standardization, and costing
\n\tMaintain consistency and quality across all food offerings
\n\tDrive innovation and profitability<\/p>\n
Financial & Administrative Control<\/p>\n
\tOversee sales capture, stock control, and banking
\n\tMonitor GP margins and maintain budget targets
\n\tManage electronic ordering and reporting systems<\/p>\n
Compliance & Governance<\/p>\n
\tUphold food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
\n\tMaintain accurate compliance records<\/p>\n
People Leadership<\/p>\n
\tManage workforce planning, payroll, and performance
\n\tFoster teamwork, accountability, and a culture of excellence<\/p>\n
Client & Service Excellence<\/p>\n
\tEnsure SLA adherence and client satisfaction
\n\tDrive continuous improvement through feedback and insights<\/p>\n
