Main Focus Areas<\/p>\n
\tThe Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies. The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and\/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs.\u200b<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)<\/p>\n
\tPractice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities\u200b
\n\tContribute to the holistic care of patients\u200b
\n\tAttend handover of report at shift commencement \u200b
\n\tCommunicate effectively with patients regarding their care\u200b
\n\tPromote patient of health and wellbeing \u200b
\n\tAudit of health records to ensure compliance \u200b
\n\tEnsure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately\u200b
\n\tPromote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors\u200b<\/p>\n
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)<\/p>\n
\tRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse or equivalent NQF 7 qualification .\u200b
\n\tRelevant qualification and experience within that area\u200b
\n\tCapacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation\u200b
\n\tAdvanced Computer Literacy\u200b
\n\tFlexible in working hours\/Shifts \/ Rotation to other wards\u200b<\/p>\n
