\tLandscaping & Turf, a Division of Servest is seeking an astute and highly motivated National Business Development Consultant in the Landscaping BU. The purpose of the role is to generate new sales growth from self-generated and business leads by selling the landscaping solutions to a client who has a need for the service. This role reports directly to the Executive Head: Business and Market Development, in the Landscaping Business Unit.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate \/ Grade 12.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree \/ Relevant tertiary qualification
\n\t3 \u2013 5 Years related experience in a similar role
\n\tAbility to speak and listen effectively
\n\tAbility to interpret customer needs
\n\tBe in apposition of a valid un-endorsed driver’s license and own transport is essential
\n\tGood understanding of local market conditions and knowledge of natural turf
\n\tMust be self starter and team player
\n\tGood communication and inter-personal skills
\n\tFully computer literate
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and independently
\n\tCommitted and willing to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines
\n\tAchievement of budgeted sales.
\n\tDesign and presentation of highly professional bid documents.
\n\tDesign and presentation of innovative, relevant and competitive solutions.
\n\tBuild and maintain senior relationships both internally and with target clients.
\n\tMaintain a high level of market intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEngage in sales and business development activities including relationship management, client liaison, strategy development and implementation, and sales reporting and forecasting.
\n\tEstablish and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision makers at different levels of businesses.
\n\tSecure new accounts and grow revenue contribution from new business
\n\tSolution development and proposal documentation preparation
\n\tGather and analyze competitor information to improve the Servest\u2019s competitive position
\n\tContact and follow up with new and potential customers
\n\tConduct well prepared and targeted presentations to internal and external customers
\n\tInform, guide, and execute corporate and divisional strategies in collaboration with sales and operations teams
\n\tContribute to the compilation of a comprehensive, realistic adaptive sales forecast.<\/p>\n
