The Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Wild Impact\u2019s South African, regional and global teams to identify, establish and nurture private, public and corporate donor-based impact partnerships.<\/p>\n
This will include, inter alia:<\/p>\n
\tGrant prospecting and proposal development – identification of potential private, public and corporate donors; drafting of clear and persuasive proposals; and copywriting and proofreading.
\n\tBudget & financial alignment – Preparation and refinement of budgets, together with the Operations and Finance teams, to ensure budgets align with proposal narratives, activities, timelines, human resources, and financial allocations.
\n\tMonitoring, evaluation and integrated learning \u2013 Preparation and refinement of results frameworks, together with the Operations and Impact Insights teams, including the inclusion of project specific Theories of Change, Log Frames and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks.
\n\tKnowledge management & process coordination \u2013 Development and maintenance of relevant Wild Impact proposal and reporting templates \/ boilerplates; and the coordination of proposal and reporting processes; preparation and presentation of fundraising and partnership reports as required, including regular Board reports.
\n\tAnalytics \u2013 Maintenance of a live database of global and regional private, public and corporate donors engaged in Wild Impact\u2019s focus areas, tracking of philanthropy trends to inform fundraising strategy.
\n\tCompliance \u2013 Ensuring compliance with Wild Impact\u2019s policies regarding funding sources, confidentiality, data handling, etc.<\/p>\n

\tThe Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will be expected to demonstrate a very high work ethic and commitment; to be consistent, professional and diplomatic; and to be able integrate into, and support, a diverse, multi-cultural team.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of a Bachelor\u2019s \/ Honours degree in a relevant field.
\n\t5+ years of experience in proposal development and grant writing, including public, private and corporate funding streams.\u00a0
\n\tStrong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
\n\tProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
\n\tKnowledge of donor requirements, compliance standards, and proposal formats.
\n\tPassion for community-based work and conservation.<\/p>\n

Green turtle monitoring project Staff at &Beyond Mnemba Island are involved in a regional tagging programme that monitors the movements of the globally endangered green turtles. Ader\u2019s duiker and suni Breeding projects for the rare Ader\u2019s duiker and endangered suni are being run at &Beyond Mnemba Island, with the population of Ader\u2019s duiker tripling in eight years and more than 250 suni relocated off the island. Rhinos Without Border In 2011 &Beyond embarked on the first ever private game reserve donation of rhino to another country, when we translocated six white rhino from &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa to Botswana\u2019s Okavango Delta.
