{"id":31801,"date":"2026-03-11T18:00:29","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T18:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/human-capital-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T18:00:38","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T18:00:38","slug":"human-capital-specialist","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/human-capital-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Human Capital Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job description<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment and Onboarding<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver end\u2011to\u2011end recruitment across specialist and critical roles, ensuring all processes meet governance and legislative requirements,<br \/>\n\tConduct onboarding programmes and ensure smooth integration of new employees,<br \/>\n\tImplement proactive, search\u2011led sourcing strategies and build sustainable talent pipelines for scarce and high\u2011demand skills,<br \/>\n\tPartner with hiring managers and Senior Human Capital Business Partners to understand business needs, provide market insights and advise on effective hiring solutions,<br \/>\n\tSupport employer branding initiatives, manage digital talent attraction channels and represent the organisation at targeted events,<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate recruitment data, reporting on key metrics and using insights to drive continuous improvement,<br \/>\n\tPromote Employment Equity and inclusive hiring practices to ensure alignment with organisational transformation goals,<br \/>\n\tMaintain and update skills matrix to support workforce planning and capability development,<br \/>\n\tLead Talent Management initiatives, including the Trainee Programme, coordinating recruitment, onboarding, development planning and progress tracking.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Relations Management<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the performance management process, including annual reviews, performance improvement plans and goal settings,<br \/>\n\tCoach and advise management and employees on all aspects of employee related issues, policies and procedures,<br \/>\n\tAddress employee concerns and grievances and conduct thorough investigations where necessary and facilitate consequence management,<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with all relevant NEF policies and labour legislation,<br \/>\n\tFacilitate that all disciplinary cases are handled fairly and promptly,<br \/>\n\tEnsure that grievances are managed and resolved amicably,<br \/>\n\tProvide advice and support to line management on fair discipline handling,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Learning and Development<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate training and skills development programmes,<br \/>\n\tImplement and manage the learning and development solutions in support of business objectives and in alignment with best practice,<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all statutory reports are conducted and are submitted timeously to the relevant SETA,<br \/>\n\tImplement employment equity requirements (skills development planning) in line with skills development,<br \/>\n\tCo-ordinate and provide input into the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) to ensure accurate and timeous submission,<br \/>\n\tProvide inputs on the BBBEE Skills Development Element of the scorecard.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum requirements<\/p>\n<p>Experience \/ Skills Required<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum of 4 years of experience as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in medium size organisation<br \/>\n\tExperience in Human Resources working in the financial services industry (preferred);<br \/>\n\tStrong knowledge in human resources processes with an exposure to recruitment, training and development, employee relations relevant legislation and employment laws;<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of HR systems and MS Office;<br \/>\n\tStrong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies;<br \/>\n\tFull understanding of HR functions and best practices is critical;<br \/>\n\tStrong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s Degree or Diploma in HR or Social Sciences<br \/>\n\tLabour Relations qualification will be advantageous<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>nefcareers.ci.hr<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/nefcareers.ci.hr","_company_name":"National Empowerment Fund","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Established by the National Empowerment Fund Act No 105 of 1998 (NEF Act), the National Empowerment Fund (the NEF) is a driver and thought-leader in promoting and facilitating black economic participation by providing financial and non-financial support to black-owned and managed businesses, and by ... read morepromoting a culture of savings and investment among black people.
