Role Purpose \/ Summary<\/p>\n
\tThis dual-role position is responsible for coordinating end-to-end recruitment operations and managing the full student bursary lifecycle. The Talent Acquisition component focuses on delivering a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience while maintaining data integrity and reporting accuracy. The Bursary Fund Management component oversees budgeting, governance, and administration of bursary and learnership programmes to support talent pipelines and Skills Development objectives.
\n\tThis role suits a detail-oriented, service-minded professional with strong coordination, stakeholder management, and compliance skills.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Talent Acquisition Coordination (\u224850%)<\/p>\n
\tRequisition & Pipeline Management: Open and manage requisitions in the ATS; post roles to job boards and social channels; maintain talent pools and pipelines.
\n\tScheduling & Logistics: Coordinate interviews across time zones, manage assessments, organize panel interviews, and candidate travel (if applicable).
\n\tCandidate Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact; ensure timely communication and status updates; support offer logistics and pre-boarding.
\n\tATS & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate candidate records, notes, and stages; ensure compliance with POPIA and internal retention policies.
\n\tAssessments & Checks: Coordinate psychometric testing, technical assessments, background checks, and references with approved vendors.
\n\tReporting & Metrics: Produce weekly dashboards (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source-of-hire, candidate NPS, DEI progress).
\n\tEmployer Branding Support: Assist with careers page updates, talent marketing content, recruitment events and campus engagements.
\n\tVendor & Panel Coordination: Liaise with agencies, job boards, and interview panels; track spend vs. budget.<\/p>\n
Bursary Fund Management (\u224850%)<\/p>\n
\tBudgeting & Reconciliation: Manage bursary budgets, forecasts, and disbursements (tuition, accommodation, textbooks, stipends). Track spend and variances monthly.
\n\tApplication & Selection: Run application cycles, shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, coordinate academic verification, and maintain fair, auditable processes.
\n\tStakeholder Engagement: Partner with universities and internal line managers; align bursary fields of study to workforce planning.
\n\tCompliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain accurate records for internal\/external audits; ensure documentation meets B\u2011BBEE verification and SETA reporting requirements.
\n\tLearner Support & Development: Onboard bursars; track academic performance; coordinate mentorships, vacation work, work-integrated learning (WIL), and absorption pathways.
\n\tContracts & Administration: Prepare bursary agreements, manage renewals\/terminations, and ensure adherence to milestones and service commitments.<\/p>\n
