JUNIOR LEGAL ADVISOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Legal Advisory & Contract Management<\/p>\n
\tDraft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
\n\tCommunicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual terms, risks, and commercial positions.
\n\tDemonstrate strong commercial acumen and a developing technical understanding of the transactions and solutions involved.
\n\tProactively build understanding of the business, its products, services, and operational environment.
\n\tIdentify, assess, and clearly articulate legal and commercial risks to relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Tenders & Proposals<\/p>\n
\tReview tender documentation and prepare\/compile compliant, accurate submissions.
\n\tEnsure alignment with legal, commercial, and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n
Risk & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tSupport enterprise risk management initiatives, including the identification and escalation of potential legal and contractual risks.
\n\tDraft and update internal policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
\n\tAssist in ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations and internal governance frameworks.<\/p>\n

\tLLB Degree (Required)
\n\tBCom Degree (Advantageous)
\n\t+ 1 year\u2019s in-house commercial legal experience, preferably within the\u00a0IT sector.
\n\tExperience in the\u00a0IT distribution industry\u00a0will be advantageous.<\/p>\n

\tAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills: able to collaborate in a team and operate independently.
\n\tSolid drafting skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
\n\tGood commercial understanding with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
\n\tSelf-starter who takes ownership of tasks from initiation to completion.
\n\tHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.<\/p>\n
ABILITY TO MEET JOB REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tExcellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy.<\/p>\n
OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tOffice-based working environment.
\n\tSemi-formal dress code.
\n\tWorking hours are from 08:00 \u2013 17:00.
\n\tExcellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.
\n\tReliable transport to and from the office.<\/p>\n
