You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned trade partners, ensuring consistent engagement, product training and commercial alignment.<br \/>\n\tThis is a relationship-driven sales role requiring strong commercial acumen, destination knowledge and the ability to manage extended sales cycles within the hospitality environment.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild, maintain and grow relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and assigned trade accounts<br \/>\n\tAchieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive account management<br \/>\n\tConduct product training sessions and presentations at trade partner premises<br \/>\n\tHost site inspections and property visits for key trade partners<br \/>\n\tDevelop tailored proposals and rate negotiations aligned to revenue objectives<br \/>\n\tSegment trade accounts based on production and growth potential<br \/>\n\tMaintain in-depth knowledge of all Village n Life properties, sub-brands, facilities, and services<br \/>\n\tProvide regular updates to trade partners regarding promotions, renovations and enhancements<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with Marketing to develop trade-specific collateral and campaigns<br \/>\n\tRepresent Village n Life at trade shows, industry events and familiarisation trips<br \/>\n\tEnsure CRM records are accurate and updated with all interactions, agreements and bookings<br \/>\n\tPrepare contracts, addendums and trade agreements<br \/>\n\tMaintain web and WETU platforms with accurate property information<br \/>\n\tDistribute mailers to the trade database<br \/>\n\tGenerate monthly and quarterly sales reports including revenue, room nights and performance trends<br \/>\n\tAnalyse competitor activity and market shifts to inform sales strategy<br \/>\n\tSupport product development initiatives aligned to trade market needs<br \/>\n\tAssist in resolving trade-related complaints and service queries<br \/>\n\tWork operational shifts where required<\/p>\n<p>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 or equivalent<br \/>\n\tDiploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred<br \/>\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in sales or business development, ideally within hospitality<br \/>\n\tStrong understanding of hotel operations and guest journey touchpoints<br \/>\n\tOpera knowledge advantageous<br \/>\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Excel capability<br \/>\n\tCRM proficiency<br \/>\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and own roadworthy vehicle<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of the golf and or wellness industries advantageous<br \/>\n\tProven sales and negotiation skills<br \/>\n\tStrong relationship-building ability with a consultative sales approach<br \/>\n\tAbility to manage long sales cycles and nurture key accounts<br \/>\n\tStrong destination and market knowledge<br \/>\n\tDetail-oriented with strong administrative capability<br \/>\n\tTarget-driven with the ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities<br \/>\n\tTeam player with a proactive and solution-focused mindset<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Village n Life","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Village n Life is a South African hospitality and tourism company specializing in property management, tourism, and finance, combined with entrepreneurial management systems.
