Role Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Hub Manager leads the overall operations of the Mediclinic Procurement Hub, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant execution of procurement, stock, finance, and administrative activities.
\n\tThe role oversees a team of hub administrators while ensuring optimal stock availability, consistent supply continuity, strong financial performance, and adherence to standardized processes.
\n\tThe Hub Manager acts as the key liaison between units, Procurement, Accounts, and Wanama\/Empact stakeholders, ensuring that all procurement and financial processes are executed with strong governance, high professionalism, and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Experience & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 8\u201310 years procurement or supply chain management experience
\n\tSupervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume operational environment
\n\tStrong P2P system experience (Wanama highly advantageous)
\n\tFinancial administration or stock control experience
\n\tRelevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or Finance (preferred but not mandatory<\/p>\n

\tEnsure smooth daily operations of the central Procurement Hub
\n\tDrive operational accuracy, stock integrity, and financial compliance
\n\tMaintain supply chain continuity through effective supplier and unit coordination
\n\tLead, coach, and develop Hub Administrators in procurement and system processes
\n\tEnhance operational efficiency and embed standard operating procedures
\n\tStrengthen financial performance through active analysis and intervention<\/p>\n

Leadership & Operational Oversight<\/p>\n
\tLead, mentor, and manage the Hub team to ensure optimal performance
\n\tOversee daily procurement, stock control, and finance-related processes
\n\tMaintain operational efficiency in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
\n\tEnsure consistent process execution and drive continuous improvement initiatives
\n\tBuild strong collaborative relationships with units, Procurement, Accounts, and other key stakeholders<\/p>\n
Procurement Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee processing of order requisitions and purchase orders
\n\tApprove and issue POs for units with restricted system access
\n\tEnsure accurate capturing and approval of receipts and invoices
\n\tInvestigate and resolve quantity and price variances with Procurement
\n\tEnsure timely deliveries, supply continuity, and optimal stock levels
\n\tMaintain accurate system document flow and housekeeping<\/p>\n
\u00a0Stock Control & Verification<\/p>\n
\tEnsure completion of pre\u2013stock count system checks
\n\tOversee preparation and distribution of physical and digital stock sheets
\n\tApprove creation and import of stock count data
\n\tReview variance analyses and escalate discrepancies to units and RMs
\n\tApprove MTA Flash reporting and oversee finalisation of stock counts
\n\tManage opening and closing of all trade and invoice periods<\/p>\n
\u00a0Financial & Administrative Oversight<\/p>\n
\tCreate and maintain trade period calendars
\n\tEnsure accurate capturing of DTA inputs, cash, takings, banking, and credit sales
\n\tOversee all daily financial capturing and reconciliations within the Hub
\n\tLiaise with RMs, Procurement, Accounts, and Deployment teams
\n\tEnsure correct documentation, data integrity, and administrative support<\/p>\n
\u00a0Required Competencies<\/p>\n
\tExtensive management experience in a procurement or supply-chain environment
\n\tDeep understanding of the end\u2011to\u2011end procurement lifecycle
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy with strong Excel proficiency
\n\t10+ years\u2019 experience in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) systems (Wanama preferred)
\n\tStrong financial literacy related to margins, COS, stock valuation, and revenue analysis
\n\tAbility to analyze operational and financial data and drive corrective action<\/p>\n
