This role is responsible for being the point of contact between the company and the Broker \/ Insurer through networking and building effective relationships. The role will be responsible to maintain and grow a strong client base with brokers, insurers, and related stakeholders to ensure continuous development of new business and retention of current business.
\n\tThe incumbent will be required to continuously look for new business opportunities to reach sales targets and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals. In addition, to perform industry analysis as required to identify industry benchmarks for insurers, to meet with clients weekly \/ monthly, and ensure all reporting requirements are met.

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tMinimum: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
\n\tPreferred: Degree in Business Management
\n\tRE 5 (essential)<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t4 + years of broker management \/ client liaison experience.
\n\tMinimum of 4 years proven sales track record and targets achieved.
\n\tDemonstrated experience managing three or more key customer accounts and \/ or departments.<\/p>\n

\tGenerate new sales leads and acquire new clients.
\n\tBuild a high level of brand awareness and reputation as key contact to our top clients.
\n\tDemonstrate extensive product knowledge of the type of short-term insurance packages available, in order to evaluate a potential client\u2019s interests and to identify and respond to areas
\n\trequiring further information or explanation.
\n\tMaintain and grow a strong client base with brokers, insurers, and related stakeholders to ensure continuous development of new business and retention opportunities.
\n\tFind new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
\n\tRespond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service inquiries.
\n\tIncrease product footprint across the short-term industry.
\n\tAnalysis of brokers\u2019 target market, product focus, and national footprint.
\n\tExtensive industry knowledge and effective positioning against industry competitors.
\n\tIdentification of brokerage needs, administration processes, and product requirements.
\n\tPackage products and solutions tailored around brokers\u2019 target markets.
\n\tMonthly communication via Product “Refreshers”, monthly reports, constructively communicating benefits and product highlights.
\n\tImplement business development and retention campaigns within broker and employer markets, with quantifiable outcome measurement.
\n\tDevelop and implement marketing plans that will outperform competitor strategies.
\n\tContinuously analyze competitor strategies and ensure knowledge is current on competitor activity.
\n\tNegotiate with intermediaries regarding the level of business and servicing requirements.
\n\tPromote solutions through marketing presentations and training.
\n\tInitiate and manage marketing drives to secure profitable, quality new business from brokers.
\n\tDeliver training to brokers\/insurers to ensure their understanding of their products and services where necessary.
\n\tManage client query processes and ensure that queries are tracked, and accurately resolved.
\n\tProvide regular reports on the delivery of services against agreed service standards and in terms of overall client targets.
\n\tPerform all such duties and exercise all such powers in relation to the business of the Company as may from time to time be vested in or assigned to you, despite the fact that such duties and powers may not normally be performed by you.<\/p>\n
