About the Role:<\/p>\n
\tThis Financial Manager role offers the opportunity to partner closely with operations, influence key financial decisions, and support a business that powers one of the country\u2019s most essential industries.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tOversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, management accounting, and compliance
\n\tPrepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
\n\tAnalyse income statements and balance sheets to support business performance
\n\tAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
\n\tManage general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
\n\tEnsure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory requirements
\n\tMaintain oversight of fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
\n\tAssist with the preparation of annual financial statements (AFS)
\n\tStrengthen internal controls and maintain accurate financial documentation
\n\tProvide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBCom Degree in Accounting (essential)
\n\tCompleted Articles (SAICA or SAIPA) \u2013 essential<\/p>\n
Required Skills:<\/p>\n
\tStrong financial reporting and management accounting skills
\n\tAdvanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities
\n\tStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tExcellent communication and stakeholder management ability<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 post-articles experience
\n\tExposure to agriculture, farming, or production environments advantageous<\/p>\n
