\tThis position falls under the Santam Broker Solutions: Risk and Governance function, which operates with a management mandate, providing an independent, objective assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality and service standards.
\n\tWe are looking for a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role reporting to Manager: Assurance, Risk and Compliance.<\/p>\n
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?<\/p>\n
\tThe successful incumbent will be required to perform risk assurance, premium collection assurance and due diligence reviews on Santam Broker Solutions business.<\/p>\n
The scope includes:<\/p>\n
\tVerification of business partner’s application against their underwriting, premium collection mandates, finance and systems utilised.
\n\tPerforming risk assurance reviews to provide independent assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing their overall operational governance processes, quality and service standards.
\n\tSupport the Business to discharge their responsibilities relating to the compliance risk management process as required by relevant regulatory requirements, applicable codes of conduct and minimum standards.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent
\n\tKnowledge of risk management and risk management practice
\n\tPrevious experience of Risk Assurance environment and\/or Internal Audit
\n\tUnderwriting, premium collection and claims business experience
\n\tKnowledge of FAIS
\n\tUnderstanding of the regulatory and business environment of the Short-Term Insurance industry.
\n\tIT Governance & Information Systems Audit
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence (able to do domestic travel )<\/p>\n
