This role is pivotal in driving impactful growth, fostering collaboration, and shaping the future of integrated wealth management at Nedbank Private Wealth
\n\tTo manage clients wealth needs through an ongoing advisory process to achieve Nedbanks strategic goals of client centricity and revenue generation; as per the business strategy.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tFormulate innovative solutions for our high net-worth clients on their wealth journey whilst being aware of markettrends and variables that may impact their investment plans
\n\tAchieve predetermined sales targets across the business by identifying opportunities in the client base to advise clients on\u00a0NPWs approved investment, risk and banking solutions
\n\tAcquire new business for the portfolio in line with the Customer Value Proposition segment specifications and acquisition\u00a0targets to increase market share
\n\tMaximise bank profitability and ensure value add to customers through cross-selling specifically focusing on wealth leads and lending opportunities. This includes the complete spectrum of Transactional Banking accounts, Investment accounts,Foreign exchange requirements, Non-Resident, Exchange control and Offshore banking requirements.
\n\tMaintain expert knowledge of all Nedbank Wealth’s approved products, application procedures, processing, and timelines, whilst using this knowledge to drive relevant sales targets
\n\tInform and educate clients on products and services to ensure retention of existing clients, increasing sales revenue, and expanding the organisation’s client base
\n\tCollaborate successfully across all relevant areas to achieve shared goals
\n\tEnsure \u00a0compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements
\n\tStay up to date with relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices, as well as the Company’s internal\u00a0compliance procedures
\n\tEnsuring that the quality of advice remains high and consistent and in line with NPW’s investment philosophy and\u00a0approved products
\n\tContributing to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking, benchmarking, and representation on related\u00a0forums
\n\tDeveloping networks and build alliances to grow and strengthen internal support bases
\n\tProvide support and coaching the wealth managers, paraplanners and other staff as required
\n\tLead team effectively and efficiently across the HR value chain including recruitment, performance management, retention of critical staff, succession planning, coaching and talent management.<\/p>\n
Essential Qualifications – NQF Level<\/p>\n
\tProfessional Qualifications\/Honour\u2019s Degree<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualification<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Commerce\/Finance\/ Business Science etc
\n\tPost Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
\n\tCertified Financial Planner (CFP) or studying towards CFP
\n\tRegulatory FAIS Exams – RE5 (essential)<\/p>\n
Essential Certifications<\/p>\n
\tFAIS representative and preferably a Key Individual<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience Level<\/p>\n
\t5 years related experience in Financial Planning\/Wealth Management acquisitions\/sales is essential
\n\tRE5 certification is essential<\/p>\n
