\n\tEnsure compliance with South African\u00a0labor\u00a0laws, mining regulations (e.g., MHSA), tax requirements, and company policies.\u00a0
\n\tLead payroll team in resolving queries, auditing outputs, and\u00a0optimizing\u00a0processes for efficiency in a 24\/7 mining environment, and escalate where necessary.\u00a0
\n\tSupport SAP ECC6 payroll configurations, upgrades, and reporting tailored to mining payroll operations, including unionised workforce environments.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with\u00a0SoluGrowth\u00a0for performance reviews, training, and seamless handover protocols.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure the accuracy and\u00a0timely\u00a0submission of payroll outputs, including payslips, reports, statutory declarations, and third-party payments.\u00a0
\n\tSupport internal process improvements and ensure best practices are followed for BPO payroll delivery.\u00a0
\n\tSupervise day-to-day payroll activities of the payroll team\u00a0
\n\tAllocate payroll workloads and\u00a0monitor\u00a0completion\u00a0
\n\tReview payroll calculations before final sign-off\u00a0
\n\tProvide guidance and coaching to payroll administrators\u00a0
\n\tAssist\u00a0with onboarding and training of payroll staff\u00a0
\n\tAssist\u00a0with payroll reconciliations including PAYE,\u00a0UIF\u00a0and SDL\u00a0
\n\tSupport EMP201 and EMP501 reconciliation processes\u00a0
\n\tAssist\u00a0during internal and external payroll audits\u00a0<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS\u00a0& EXPERIENCE:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent; relevant qualification in Payroll Administration (e.g., Payroll Association of South Africa certificate) preferred.\u00a0
\n\t5+ years’ payroll experience in a high-volume, industrial environment, with proven SAP ECC6\u00a0proficiency\u00a0(modules: HCM Payroll, Time Management), mining environment preferred.\u00a0
\n\tHands-on experience with time & attendance systems (e.g., Kronos or similar) and leave management processes.\u00a0
\n\tIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel for reconciliations, Word for reports, Outlook for communication)\u00a0
\n\tMinimum\u00a03\u00a0years of full-function payroll experience in a BPO or shared services environment\u00a0(will be to your advantage).\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated experience using\u00a0SAP ECC6\u00a0to manage multiple payrolls.\u00a0
\n\tUnderstanding of shift-based payroll, allowances, and overtime calculations common in mining environments.\u00a0<\/p>\n
