Suitably qualified and experienced individuals will be able to deliver on the following responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPrepare daily and monthly journals with precision and attention to detail
\n\tProcess monthly fee billing, ad hoc trip charges, and disbursement invoicing
\n\tCapture and allocate tuition fee payments efficiently
\n\tReceive, verify, and accurately allocate all proof of payments and remittances
\n\tMaintain accurate data capture across all financial systems
\n\tConduct overflow credit enquiries and assessments
\n\tPrepare monthly reconciliations and financial summaries
\n\tResolve monthly reconciliation discrepancies promptly
\n\tOwn the online payment application cycle \u2013 from billing preparation, capturing, maintenance, to resolution of queries
\n\tAddress and resolve debtor queries in a timely, professional manner
\n\tSupport month-end closing processes and procedures
\n\tExecute general accounting duties as required
\n\tDeliver regular feedback and comprehensive reports to stakeholders
\n\tCollaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
The requirements of the position are:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Higher Certificate NQF Level 5
\n\tAt least 3 – 5 years of relevant finance experience (minimum requirement)
\n\tWorking knowledge of ACCPAC and IDU, or similar accounting management solution and budgeting\/reporting tools
\n\tKnowledge of Karri or similar online payment applications (advantageous)
\n\tIntermediate MS Excel proficiency (minimum requirement).\u00a0 A skills test may be administered.\u00a0 Must be competent in: Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Data Validation, Advanced Filtering, Formulas, and Data Extractions
\n\tExcellent analytical and numerical skills
\n\tCritical thinking with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
\n\tExceptional time-management and prioritisation skills
\n\tDeadline-driven with the ability to work effectively under pressure and extended hours when required
