PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis exciting position exists to support the HR department with a broad range of administrative, operational, and developmental tasks. The role provides exposure to the full HR value chain, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, performance management, HR reporting, and compliance.
\n\tThe HR Graduate will also gain insight into HR systems, labour legislation, policy development, and employee engagement initiatives, laying a foundation for a future career in Human Resources.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Recruitment and Onboarding<\/p>\n
\tEnsure up to date organograms for each site.
\n\tEnsure up to date workforce plans and vacancy list per country.
\n\tAssist with job postings and screening resumes.
\n\tCoordinate and participate in interviews.
\n\tOnboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition.
\n\tUpdate the recruitment needs and applications in Direct Hire.<\/p>\n
Organisational Development<\/p>\n
\tAssist with employee wellness initiatives.
\n\tIdentity corporate social investment opportunities in each country.
\n\tAssessment of organisational culture (exit interviews, post-engagement interviews and climate surveys).<\/p>\n
Training and Development<\/p>\n
\tEnsure an updated training plan per country.
\n\tEnsure a personal development plan per employee that forms part of the talent management programme.
\n\tUpdate 9 box matrix with identified successors for critical roles.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure each employee has a performance scorecard \/ contract.
\n\tEnsure each employee has an annual performance review.<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the collation of accurate monthly reports.
\n\tConduct HR compliance audits.
\n\tUpdate HR records in Sage.
\n\tAssist with the communication of HR policies.
\n\tParticipate in HR system implementation (time and attendance, overtime app, FAWOW and Connect Hub).<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tHonors degree in Human Resource Management.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 1-year of relevant experience would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tMedically fit as per company standards.
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tExcellent organisational and time management skills.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n\tAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
\n\tA proactive and motivated individual.
\n\tCompliance-orientated.
\n\tDemonstrate a high level of integrity in all actions.<\/p>\n
