Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe ideal team player will be responsible for managing and coordinating all duties related to the movement and storage of raw materials, both bulk and bagged, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tMin. 2 years’ experience in stock control, warehousing, or raw material handling (especially in a manufacturing or agricultural setting)
\n\tAbility to operate Forklifts, Bobcats, or similar equipment (license preferred).
\n\tWorking knowledge of inventory systems and standard operating procedures.
\n\tExperience with bulk and bagged raw material handling.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrioritize offloading and allocate bunker storage accordingly.
\n\tOversee offloading processes to meet standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
\n\tMaintain safe stock levels and accurate stock movement records.
\n\tSafeguard materials per health and safety regulations.
\n\tControl access to storage areas and ensure all facilities are clean and secure.
\n\tReconcile stock usage, monitor deviations and report back to supervisor.
\n\tComplete daily control sheets and offloading documentation.
\n\tAccurately manage and report discrepancies and data entries.
\n\tLead and allocate duties to store personnel to ensure team productivity.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams for planning, movement and feedback on raw materials.
\n\tEnsure high standards of cleanliness in all stock and offloading areas.
\n\tMonitor and report safety issues.<\/p>\n
Skills Required<\/p>\n
\tStrong planning and organizational skills.
\n\tExcellent communication and team coordination ability.
\n\tAttention to detail – ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
\n\tProblem-solving ability – quickly responding to operational issues and stock discrepancies.
\n\tComputer literate – proficient in excel
\n\tHands-on and physically capable – comfortable working in a warehouse\/production environment with physical demands.<\/p>\n
