The Opportunity<\/p>\n
\tJoin us as a Tender & Service Specialist and play a key role in managing the complete lifecycle of service-related projects. This role connects sales and operations\u2014identifying and bidding for engineering service contracts (quotations\/tenders) and, once secured, leading the smooth technical execution, resource scheduling, and financial closure of each service order.<\/p>\n
How You\u2019ll Make an Impact<\/p>\n
\tQuotations & Tender Management (Pre\u2011Award)
\n\tSales Team Interface:\u00a0Support the Service Sales team with presales preparation.
\n\tTechnical Scoping:\u00a0Review RFQs\/RFPs to define the Scope of Work (SoW), technical specifications, and resource requirements.
\n\tCost Estimation:\u00a0Prepare cost estimates for labour, parts, subcontractors, and travel.
\n\tBid Compilation:\u00a0Compile the complete tender pack, ensuring full compliance with B\u2011BBEE, Tax Clearance, COID, and all technical returnables.
\n\tVendor Liaison:\u00a0Source and compare supplier quotations for specialized components.
\n\tService Coordination & Execution (Post\u2011Award)
\n\tProject Kick-off:\u00a0Convert approved quotations into Service Orders\/Job Cards within the ERP system.
\n\tResource Scheduling:\u00a0Coordinate with the Service Operations Manager to dispatch and schedule field service technicians or engineers, ensuring they are equipped with the appropriate tools and PPE.
\n\tLogistics Management:\u00a0Monitor procurement and delivery timelines to ensure required parts are available and downtime is minimized.
\n\tCompliance Oversight:\u00a0Ensure safety files and fitness certificates comply with OHS requirements.
\n\tClient Management:\u00a0Act as the primary point of contact for client updates, variations, and progress communications.
\n\tFinancial & Administrative Closure
\n\tWIP Tracking:\u00a0Track Work in Progress to ensure service execution aligns with quoted margins.
\n\tInvoicing:\u00a0Facilitate sign-off of Job Cards\/Timesheets and initiate final invoicing after successful commissioning or handover.
\n\tReporting:\u00a0Maintain a Win\/Loss tender register and prepare Execution Efficiency reports for the Service Unit.
\n\tCompliance:\u00a0Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations, HSE policies, and quality standards.
\n\tLeadership & Teamwork:\u00a0Demonstrate strong collaboration and a disciplined approach to delivering accurate, high\u2011quality results.

\tA bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in an engineering services environment, with proven expertise in bid and tender compilation.
\n\tAbility to interpret engineering drawings and schematics and compile accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
\n\tAdvanced MS Excel skills, with working knowledge of MS Project and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba).
\n\tFamiliarity with PPPFA regulations (80\/20 and 90\/10) and South African B\u2011BBEE codes.
\n\tStrong deadline management and the ability to shift effectively between sales\u2011focused and logistics\u2011focused tasks.
\n\tWillingness to travel across assigned countries as required.
\n\tProficiency in spoken and written English.<\/p>\n
