Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Creation of Partnerships with Schools<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with the Department of Education to create partnerships to increase visibility and grant permission to approach schools.\u00a0
\n\tReview and update memorandum of understanding with Department of Education.\u00a0
\n\tReceive confirmation letter or ensure circular has been submitted to schools for visitation authorisation.\u00a0
\n\tSet school visitation schedule onsite or telephonically.\u00a0
\n\tAssess school to determine if it meets the standards to partner with.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify functional schools for potential placements.\u00a0
\n\tCompile letter based on requirements requesting partnerships and number of learners that could be accommodated.\u00a0
\n\tReceive and review notifications of number of students that may be accommodated.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Preparation, Placement and Support of Students<\/p>\n
\tAssist Social Media Specialist with social media management and content planning.
\n\tConduct workshops to expose students to the professional code of conduct and schools\u2019 expectations to align them to the world of work
\n\tConduct location survey for students to inform placements
\n\tCompile school placement tracker and assign students to schools
\n\tAdvise students of placements and schedule
\n\tComplete the acknowledgement of placement form and issue to students for visit to school to introduce prior to work experience
\n\tIssue mentor and mentee agreement form to student for completion on introduction visit
\n\tTrack and check final placements and reassign learners to alternative schools if required
\n\tCheck on students\u2019 progress at schools
\n\tMake alternative arrangements for learners in the event of inappropriate arrangements
\n\tConduct meetings internally and with head of schools to check progress of placements
\n\tManage recall of students for disciplinary issues<\/p>\n
Sourcing and Training of Teaching Experience Supervisors\/ Mentors<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and recruit supervisors for teaching experience
\n\tOnboard supervisors including contracting
\n\tConduct training workshops for supervisors
\n\tAssign supervisors to students based on location
\n\tIssue student details to supervisors for communication with students
\n\tTrack and check that communication and supervision is occurring
\n\tContact supervisors that are not in contact to remedy the situation<\/p>\n
Teaching Experience Administration<\/p>\n
\tCheck and track that all students are being assessed
\n\tCheck and track that students are completing and submitting all required documentation
\n\tContact students not complying with submissions and put in place corrective measures
\n\tCompile reports on the status of students placed<\/p>\n
