\tTWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Learning & Development Specialist within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.<\/p>\n
Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tThis role involves managing the organisation\u2019s learning and development function by assessing training needs, implementing development programmes, and evaluating their effectiveness.
\n\tIt includes overseeing SETA\u2011related compliance, skills development projects, and B\u2011BBEE Skills Development requirements. The role further requires managing external training providers, maintaining accurate training and financial records, and ensuring the smooth execution of all L&D initiatives.
\n\tAdditionally, the Learning and Development Specialist contributes to continuous improvement in learning practices and builds strong working relationships across the organisation.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\tLead, coordinate, and implement training and development initiatives, including mandatory, legislative, technical, and customised programmes
\n\tManage study assistance, bursaries, learnerships, apprenticeships, graduate placements, and all SETA-related projects end to end
\n\tMaintain accurate training records and manage HR systems such as SAGE300, BEE123, and the company LMS
\n\tProcess training invoices and maintain precise financial and reporting documentation
\n\tDrive the preparation and submission of all annual skills submissions to relevant SETAs
\n\tMaintain, monitor, and prepare all data, records, and documentation required for the Skills Development element of the B\u2011BBEE scorecard, including sampling preparation for verification
\n\tAdminister and coordinate the full performance management cycle, including system updates, monitoring deadlines, and supporting managers with processes and documentation
\n\tFacilitate and coordinate job profiling for all positions, ensuring profiles are accurate, up to date, and aligned to organisational structures and job evaluation requirements
\n\tSupport HR-related projects & initiatives
\n\tEnsure strict compliance with all governance, documentation, and process requirements
\n\tProactively resolve queries, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure all deadlines and project deliverables are met
\n\tBuild and maintain professional working relationships with internal teams, managers, learners, and external stakeholders<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tNational Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Learning & Development, or a related field
\n\tSkills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification or equivalent (advantageous)
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in learning and development, training coordination, SETA-related processes, and skills development management
\n\tProven experience managing learnerships, bursaries, or graduate programmes
\n\tStrong understanding of SETA submissions, WSP\/ATR requirements, and B\u2011BBEE Skills Development elements
\n\tExperience in performance management processes and\/or HR systems administration
\n\tExcellent administrative, organisational, and project management skills
\n\tStrong written and verbal communication abilities
\n\tProficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems (e.g., SAGE300, BEE123, LMS platforms)
\n\tHigh level of accuracy in data capturing, reporting, and invoice processing
\n\tValid Code 08 driver\u2019s license and willingness to travel<\/p>\n
