Consultant | CPT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>Team Lead Specific Duties<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and maintain reports of daily activities, present analysis and feedback to the Clinical manager.<br \/>\n\tPerform monthly Quality Assurance Audits for the team.<br \/>\n\tAllocate daily roles and activities to team members based on demand and capacity.<br \/>\n\tWhere applicable, ensure that the team are appropriately allocated to afterhours duties, and maintain a record of timesheets to be submitted to the line manager for remuneration of afterhours activities.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the team is meeting their specified SLA for all daily activities, where inefficiencies or issues are noted these must be raised to the line manager immediately.<br \/>\n\tEnsure GP authorisations are loaded accurately and completely according to company standards and policies.<br \/>\n\tTraining and coaching the team (including but not limited to: company policies and standards, product rules, clinical guidelines) to ensure high-quality clinical care management services are provided.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate with the Health Service Cantre Manager to ensure operational efficiencies between the Health Service Centre and virtual care teams.<br \/>\n\tProvide input and support for projects as required by the business<\/p>\n<p>Daily operational activities<\/p>\n<p>Virtual care bookings<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that the team calendars are appropriately opened and\/or blocked according to the tea, availability and scheduling<br \/>\n\tEnsure that members are being consulted as scheduled<br \/>\n\tManage any escalations related to consultations<br \/>\n\tConsulting patients together with the team during the available time slots<br \/>\n\tWeekly reporting of bookings and consultations<\/p>\n<p>Clinical triage queue<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure availability of a team daily who is responsible for the calls being transferred from the call centre<br \/>\n\tEnsure the tracker is completed daily<br \/>\n\tEnsure accurate call tagging<br \/>\n\tReport on weekly summary or tracker<\/p>\n<p>Administrative duties<\/p>\n<p>Line management of virtual care nurse team<\/p>\n<p>\tmonthly<br \/>\n\tLeave management<br \/>\n\tTraining and development<br \/>\n\tScheduling of Drs according to their availability<br \/>\n\tAct as a liaison for the VC doctors<br \/>\n\tQuality auditing<br \/>\n\tRostering and scheduling<\/p>\n<p>General<\/p>\n<p>\tReport any clinical escalations\/concerns to the Clinical Review Committee or clinical risk management teams<br \/>\n\tMaintain confidentiality in clinical conditions shared with her\/him.<\/p>\n<p>Key outcomes<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist the Clinical and Medical Advisors to identify appropriate resources and guidelines to effectively assess, prioritize, advise, and manage patients presenting with a variety of primary healthcare conditions, including but not limited to: Common acute and chronic outpatient conditions, emergency conditions, HIV, maternity and family planning, child care. \u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure all team members thoroughly complete documentation utilizing the appropriate computer software in compliance with the approved policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all team members maintain current nursing skills and knowledge base by attendance at workshops and seminars, completion of mandatory continued professional development, reading of professional journals, publications, and participation in professional organizations.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and maintain reports on the activities carried out within their team, presenting feedback and analysis of targets and outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY<\/p>\n<p>REQUIRED<\/p>\n<p>\tProfessional Nurse \/ Registered Nurse \/ Enrolled Nurse \/ ALS paramedic<br \/>\n\tDegree \/ Diploma in Nursing<br \/>\n\tA minimum of 5 years nursing experience.<br \/>\n\tExperience across both the public and private health sector.<br \/>\n\tMedical Aid or Insurance industry experience will be an advantage.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of ICD codes.<\/p>\n<p>DESIRED<\/p>\n<p>\tPHC, Midwifery, and HIV experience is an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n<p>REQUIRED<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong understanding of clinical codes.<br \/>\n\tAttention to detail.<br \/>\n\tHealth risk assessment knowledge.<br \/>\n\tComputer Literacy (Microsoft office).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information<\/p>\n<p>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: BEHAVIORAL
