Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlan for, teach and co-teach face to face and distance lessons for and deliver academic and clubs lessons.
\n\tCollaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences and to create and implement high quality Individualised behaviour and learning plans for scholars.
\n\tParticipate actively in all scheduled professional development sessions.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and administer formative and termly assessments to track student progress and analyse the data for student growth for all scholars to meet the required proficiency ratings.
\n\tSubmit and analyse scholar data in order to track progress and intervene when necessary.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tLead scholar social and emotional development through CQ (Character Quotient) sessions and reflections.
\n\tPlan for, deliver and monitor programmes to support low performing scholars, or extend high performing scholars.\u00a0
\n\tParticipate in place-based education where required within mandated national curriculum or as part of SPARK Schools curriculum enrichment.
\n\tParticipate in career and tertiary pathways education where required as part of scholar culture and character development.
\n\tDevelop SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies.
\n\tCommunicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tConduct self in a professional manner at all SPARK Schools events and to all stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tNurture a high \u00adachieving work environment where all scholars feel genuinely valued and supported.\u00a0
\n\tPromote the vision and mission of SPARK Schools to staff, scholars, families, and the greater community.
\n\tImplement strategies implemented by the Crisis Management team. Adhere to the child protection, anti-bullying and health and safety policy.\u00a0
\n\tAttend Saturday events and parent community meetings.
\n\tSubmit student results data when required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Criteria:<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tEnglish language fluency\u00a0
\n\tCompleted\u00a0B.Ed\u00a0or\u00a0PGCE\u00a0degree in\u00a0Commercial subjects -EMS and Business Studies\u00a0
\n\t1 – 2 years experience teaching in a High School setting.
\n\tSACE registration
\n\tClear\/Clean criminal record<\/p>\n
