\tThe job purpose of a Administrator sales is to provide essential administrative support to the sales team, production team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the sales process.
\n\tThis role focuses on handling the administrative aspects of sales, including managing orders, processing inquiries, scheduling deliveries, maintaining customer records, and supporting sales staff to meet targets and maintain good customer relationships.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tTertiary qualification in sales or logistics
\n\t3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in similar role
\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tRelevant experience in a Ready-mix internal sales role or construction industries
\n\tRelevant experience in Aggregates\/Ash internal sales role or construction industries
\n\tRelevant experience in logistics and scheduling
\n\tExperience with Batchman and Pastel EVO
\n\tExperience with SAP<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAnswering incoming calls
\n\tGenerating quotes for PPC materials clients
\n\tFollowing up on all quotes
\n\tAssist client with queries and if required direct them to the correct staff
\n\tEnsuring that the correct mixes are on the system, if not liase with technical for pricing and mix designs
\n\tAssist the sales reps where required with quotes
\n\tUpdate on ERP systems, quotes and loading new pricing product
\n\tUpdating the product list, new material quotes and reloading orders (Snr Administrator)
\n\tMaintaining Master data (Senior Administrator
\n\tCash sales update<\/p>\n
Orders and scheduling<\/p>\n
\tPlacing orders for clients verifying credit availability
\n\tScheduling deliveries of all materials products and maintaining system
\n\tFollowing up with production to ensure orders have been delivered timeously
\n\tEnsuring in conjunction with operations to ensure that sufficient resources are available for the day\u2019s deliveries
\n\tAssist clients with issues when required during a pour
\n\tEnsure that all payments have been made by cash customers before material is despatched.
\n\tLiaise with despatch on progress of orders and when required move resources around to reduce pressure where it exists.
\n\tAttending to walk in customers
\n\tPreparing PODs for bulk orders and cash customers<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPreparing sales reports, tracking sales performance, and helping management analyze sales data to improve strategies.
\n\tDaily summary of orders and deliveries
\n\tDelivery time compliance
\n\tCancelled orders
\n\tSales quotes status and success rate
\n\tMaintaining and updating customer records, contracts, quotes, and other sales-related documents.
