Sales:<\/p>\n
\tAchieve set annual sales targets and increase revenue and market share.
\n\tTravel to defined geographies to sell products and services.
\n\tAchieve the required number customer visits.
\n\tBuild and manage relationships between AEC-Amersham and customers and\/or relevant suppliers.
\n\tProvide training, technical support and after sales service to customers on an ongoing basis.
\n\tMeet and exceed customer expectations.
\n\tProvide competitive information such as product specifications, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.\u00a0
\n\tPerform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
\n\tIdentifies the need for new products.
\n\tIdentify new clients and opportunities within existing business environment.
\n\tPrepare quotations and ensure follow-up.
\n\tComplete and submit tenders accurately.
\n\tMonitor sales\/backorders of products.
\n\tIdentify and manage exhibitions and congresses.<\/p>\n
Marketing:<\/p>\n
\tBe able to conduct research to identify competitors, their product strategies, future requirements of the market, market trends and identify areas of potential sales successes (Competitor Analysis).
\n\tMust be able to qualify leads and close opportunities.
\n\tIntroduce and manage marketing strategies for present and future product ranges (under supervision).
\n\tIdentify and manage exhibitions and congresses with management and support staff.
\n\tIdentify advertising and promotional requirements for AEC-Amersham.
\n\tEnsure availability of marketing and sample material with the assistance of the internal sales support staff.
\n\tProvide input on proposed special offers to Sales Manager to drive sales in a specific area.
\n\tCompile Marketing Plans when new products are launched (under supervision).<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Relations:<\/p>\n
\tUpdate suppliers\u2019\/customers\u2019 contact details.
\n\tAssist with sales support to branches.
\n\tAttend and participate in sales meetings.
\n\tEnsure that applicable queries are escalated to suppliers when necessary .\u00a0
\n\tBuild on relationships with principals to ensure support channels are present when required.
\n\tUse initiative to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Administrations:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare quotations.
\n\tSubmit quotations\/pro-forma invoices within 24 hours of request (under supervision if need be).
\n\tFollow-up on quotations\/pro-forma invoices.
\n\tComplete tenders accurately and submit prior to deadlines.
\n\tSubmit reports to Sales Manager.
\n\tHybrid position and must have facility to accommodate this\u00a0.
\n\tProvide sales forecast.
\n\tUpdate SAP Activities post customer visits or important telephone calls.
\n\tUpdate Outlook Electronic Calendar and Activity reports daily.
\n\tManage conflict\/complaints in an effective and professional manner.
\n\tCreate and share knowledge base with colleagues and customers.
\n\tRelevant problem-solving skills within working environment.
\n\tInput on price list updates.<\/p>\n
Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tAttend compulsory SHEQ meetings.
\n\tAdhere to company\u2019s SOPs.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma\/Degree in the Life Sciences.
\n\tPreferably in the Life Science\/ Laboratory Field, Biomedical Technology\/BSC \/ experience in the relevant field.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\t3 years\u2019 experience in life sciences – laboratory sales environment.
\n\tComputer literate (Word and Excel).
\n\tGood communication and customer service skills.<\/p>\n
