Ensure the conducting of and reporting on all underground, shaft and surface audits and inspections on matters relating to mine safety, mine equipment, occupational hygiene and medicine.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring the conducting of and reporting on of all investigations into mine related accidents and diseases, contraventions and complaints.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the conducting, testing and licensing of equipment on mines i.e. winders lifts, chairlifts, boilers and conduct statutory inspections.
