RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Production Requirements<\/p>\n
\tOperation of FEL, TLB Excavator, ADT, Grader and Water Truck to either load, dig, clean trenches or ditch slimes dam and maintenance of access roads and connecting pipes and building of deposition wall.
\n\tEnsure that relevant SOP\u2019s (Standard operating procedure) for the specific machine is followed at all times.
\n\tResponsible for general housekeeping of the machine.
\n\tGeneral inspection of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist.
\n\tAdhere to safety rules and regulations.<\/p>\n
Equipment<\/p>\n
\tComplete pre-shift inspection report at the beginning of every shift and report all faults and problems to the Supervisor.
\n\tInspect the equipment (machine) and the working area.<\/p>\n
Operator Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tOperate and maintain equipment as per OEM operator manual specifications.
\n\tCheck condition of the machine.
\n\tAlways ensure cleanliness of machine.
\n\tEnsure lubrication as per OEM specifications.
\n\tMaintain fuel levels in the machine
\n\tAssist maintenance personnel with tasks when required.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.
\n\tValid MQA accredited (FEL, TLB, Excavator, ADT, Grader, Water Truck) Competency Certificate.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in an earthmoving environment.<\/p>\n
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tCommunication skills (verbal & written).\u2022Safety oriented.\u2022Action oriented.\u2022Ability to operate independently.
\n\tPlanning & Problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
\u00a0GENERAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tMust pass company and\/or client criminal screening processes.
\n\tValid Code 10 driver\u2019s license
\n\tMust be physically, mentally and medically fit as per company and\/or client standards.
\n\tDover testing.
\n\tWillingness to work rotating shifts as required.
\n\tAvailability to work overtime when necessary.<\/p>\n
