\tThis role supports the preparation of HINT Company Annual Financial Statement’s statutory financial reporting, HINT subsidiaries’ financial reporting for group consolidation purposes. The role will assist with the preparation of consolidated financial information, coordination with in-country finance teams and support of the external audit process. Reporting directly to Group Consolidation and Reporting Specialist.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the preparation and updating the Group and Subsidiaries financial statements and disclosure notes in Caseware to ensure compliance with IFRS 17.
\n\tPerform mapping of general ledger accounts to Caseware templates and maintain the financial statement structure for both the Group and Subsidiaries.
\n\tPrepare consolidation working papers, including elimination entries, reconciliation schedules and supporting documents for group adjustments.
\n\tPerform a high level review of in-country group reporting packs to ensure completeness, accuracy and alignment with group reporting requirements.
\n\tSupport the external audit process by preparing audit deliverables, maintaining supporting documents and responding to information requests.
\n\tCoordinate with in-country teams on milestones and timelines for group reporting purposes.
\n\tAssistance with ad-hoc projects as and when needed.<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 1-3 years post articles experience.
\n\tTechnical IFRS knowledge, particularly on consolidation.
\n\tExperience with consolidated financial statements.
\n\tStrong analytical and attention to detail.
\n\tEffective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
\n\tAbility to coordinate multiple reporting requirements and maintain project timelines.
\n\tCaseware proficiency (Advantageous).
\n\tInsurance industry exposure (Advantageous).<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNewly qualified CA (SA) or third year audit senior with consolidation exposure.<\/p>\n
