ENVIRONMENT:<\/p>\n
\tA dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist seeks a strong technical Network Specialist to provide high-level support such as strategic planning of network upgrades and high-level network performance analyses.
\n\tSupport functions extend from testing and troubleshooting problems to regular maintenance. Applicants will require Matric\/Grade 12, a relevant IT tertiary qualification and of the following Certifications: FortiGate\/Sophos\/Cisco Voice Certification or equivalent, a CCNA\/CCNP or equivalent, a HPE Aruba Networking and Huawei Certification.
\n\tYou will also need 5 years\u2019 experience with wireless solutions and support, HPE Aruba Networking & experience delivering Network Security Services in a customer-facing environment. You will also require FortiGate, Sophos and Cisco Voice experience.<\/p>\n
DUTIES:<\/p>\n
\tImplementation, maintenance, monitoring, and management of networking infrastructure and capability (hardware and software solutions).
\n\tAnalyse and solve common and complex network problems through reasoning, troubleshooting, and innovative thinking.
\n\tDevelop and maintain professional working relationships with clients and client end-users in support of the Service Delivery Manager.
\n\tLiaise with 3rd party vendors to resolve escalated incidents, problems, and queries.
\n\tMaintain service and quality levels in accordance with company business standards, processes, and procedures.
\n\tCreate and update documentation related to installation procedures and troubleshooting of network incidents.
\n\tCommunicate (orally or in writing) feedback and technical information to all levels of end-users and customer IT management.
\n\tPunctual, disciplined, and dedicated to effectively executing job requirements while adhering to internal and external HR and IT policies.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
Qualifications –<\/p>\n
\tMatric Grade 12 (Compulsory).
\n\tTertiary IT qualification.
\n\tExperience with FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco Voice Certification or equivalent.
\n\tCCNA \/ CCNP or equivalent Certification.
\n\tHPE Aruba Networking or equivalent Certification.
\n\tHuawei Certification.<\/p>\n
Experience\/Skills –<\/p>\n
\tExperience with FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco Voice.
\n\t5+ Years experience with \u2013
\n\tWireless solutions and support
\n\tHPE Aruba Networking
\n\tDelivering Network Security Services in a customer-facing environment
\n\tITIL v3 Foundation minimum.<\/p>\n
