SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd requires a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their Security team as a Control Room Manager.
\n\tThe successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of Security employees as well as providing security services to the Group.
\n\tThe successful candidate will report to the Security Manager.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities (NOT limited to the below)<\/p>\n
\tManage the control room operators to ensure effective-monitoring security cameras and alarms.
\n\tEnsure the safety of the SA Metal fleet and response activation.
\n\tAssist security managers with incident investigations, tracking and detailed reporting.
\n\tConduct internal investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct, accidents, safety breaches, and other security-related incidents.
\n\tGather, analyze, and preserve evidence in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
\n\tInterview witnesses, suspects, and employees to obtain detailed and accurate statements.
\n\tDraft clear, factual and detailed investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
\n\tLiaise with law enforcement and other external agencies when required.
\n\tMonitor compliance with company policies, security protocols, and access control systems.
\n\tSupport disciplinary processes by presenting findings and evidence.
\n\tConduct surveillance and monitoring where necessary to prevent losses or breaches
\n\tDevelop standard operating procedures for the control room.
\n\tTrain the controllers to meet the required expectations for the position and deliver as per the best practices for the control room.
\n\tEnsures that all Employees\u2019 Written Task Procedures are updated, explained and the employee understands the contents thereof.
\n\tInspect the control room occurrence book daily and ensure the required standards are met.
\n\tEnsure security systems are operational and maintained.
\n\tEnsure all incidents are recorded accurately and as per the indicated timelines.
\n\tLaisse with dispatch teams in case of emergencies.
\n\tCompile incidents reports and report to management.
\n\tCompile monthly reports.
\n\tManage the Control room team including: motivate the team, manage time and attendance, maintain discipline and offer guidance and assistance as and where required.
\n\tMaintain and administer processes on security systems.
\n\tMaintain and administer building alarm processes.
\n\tPerform ad-hoc tasks as and when required
\n\tAdheres to Health & Safety Regulations in terms of the Safety file for the department.<\/p>\n
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
\n\tGrade A PSIRA Certificate.
\n\tComputer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CCTV).
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license.
\n\tOn-line vehicle tracking experience.
\n\tAt least 10 years\u2019 experience working in a security control room environment
\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience managing a security control room team.
\n\tTechnical knowledge of CCTV, deep alert and dial up monitoring systems.
\n\tProblem-solving skills.
\n\tMulti-tasking skills.
\n\tSuccessful implementation of Company Rules & Regulations.
\n\tProven management ability
